Surprisingly enough, some basic things were missing in the room like soap and toilet paper, something you usually find also in very basic guesthouses.

Very central location less than 5 mins walk from Varkala’s cliff. Staff was very helpful.

Very kind staff that helped with anything, organised a later check out as well as a ride to the train station. They were extremely supportive when I had a question. Nice room for a one night stay with attached bathroom and free water refill which was everything I needed. All clean and cozy. Will definitely come back:))

Facilities were just okay. I expected a little more spacious room with more amenities like kettle ,coffee, or tea sacket.

The host was really friendly. It was more like a homestay. Felt really comfortable. The room and toilet were clean and properly maintained . I really enjoyed it there.

Big thanks to Nikhil and team for making it a wonderful stay! Nice room with comfortable mattress, hammock in the backyard, roof terrace. Quiet part of Varkala Cliff, but the clifffront walkway is just a minute away.

There were no Double Beds, only Two Single Beds Joint together. No Breakfast Available at the Property. Properties in all Varkala are costly.

-An additional chair on the terrace would be nice. One is not enough ;) -Not enough furniture in the room. We didn't know where to place our clothes+hangers would be a good idea too. -During the night there are many bugs in the corridor on the floor. Something should be done about it.

The house is located close to the sea and the turistic area, which we really liked. Everything was pretty clean. I had the impression that the building was renovated recently. Nice hammocks in the garden.

The hall was super clean, the room was horrible, dirty walls , bedsheets and pillows. Totally doesn’t look like on the pictures. It could be a very good place. It would be enough to paint the walls and change the bedsheets and cushions.

I had a pleasant stay at SkyLounge Residency in Varkala. The staff were attentive and took the time to show me different room options, ensuring I was happy with my choice. They were also flexible and accommodating when my plans changed, which made the experience stress-free. The room was very clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable place to relax. The location is another highlight—close enough to walk to the cliff and enjoy the area, but far enough from the busy streets to feel peaceful. Overall, a great option for a calm and comfortable stay in Varkala.

Overall the room/hotel is really good, neat, and well maintained. But, I personally had a horrible night there. I stayed there for a night. Had to spend all night without electricity. I had to function and move around in pitch darkness. I had to sleep in my car after midnight as they couldn't even provide backup for one fan. I would have appreciated it if they provided an answer or if they would have acknowledged the fact they had a power issue.
