1) There are no ceiling fans in any room. Upon asking the staff, they simply replied that fans are not required at this hill station. Which is WRONG. However they provided us with a paddle fan, which was not ideal as it was occupying space and was not serving as the ceiling fan can serve. 2) There is no mesh on the window. We can not keep the window open to enjoy the fresh air and the birds tweets in the early morning…. 3) In the last 3 days of our stay there was a huge noise pollution of songs played on loudspeakers somewhere on the mountain. It was full of disturbance..

We liked more the botanical atmosphere with colorful flowers and green environment. The Buggy facility was an additional item for us.

If we order from swiggy or Zomato, delivery person was not allowed inside which is understandable but atleast, staff member could pick up and deliver at the door step.

I opted for 2 bedroom accomodation. Property was excellent and well maintained. Breakfast with live counters was sumptous and had lot of options. Team was kind enough to shift my room from ground floor to first floor upon my request. All the staff members were courteous particularly Mr. Partheban.

I recently had the pleasant of staying at Sterling Lake Resort in Kodaikanal.The location is beautiful, offering a peaceful view of the lake and surrounding nature. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was courteous and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast buffet at the restaurant was decent with good variety. Great place for a relaxing getaway. Would definitely recommend for families and couples!

Room service was slightly slow during peak hours, and the Wi-Fi signal was weak in certain areas of the property. These were minor issues compared to the overall experience.

The location is absolutely serene—nestled by the lake with lovely greenery and misty mornings. We had a warm welcome and swift check-in. The staff were extremely courteous and went out of their way to make our family comfortable, especially with a toddler in the group. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The kids' play area, bonfire evening, and nature walk added charm to our stay.

Breakfast was ok and few of the items would change and repeat every alternate days. The snacks and tea/coffee provided between 4-6 pm is on paid basis which we were not aware initially since the staff near the reception said it was free for all the guests. The prices were on the higher side for the evening tea/coffee and snacks and also for the in-house lunch/ dinner. Also the area around where we stayed, the grass was not trimmed and not well maintained. Other areas looked good. View from our window was an open field and we could see the lake at a far distance. We had a small pet and were charged 2000 + taxes per night for the pet but nothing else was provided. No dog food or dog bed. On one occasion they took away the iron box along with the iron board for some other guests even though we had to ask for it in the 1st place. They returned it only after calling them back and asked for it again. The microwave was also missing initially. Photos seen in the booking.com app is far way from the real room pics. The room looks old. For the price paid for 4 nights with a pet-72k+ for the indulge suite we expected better room standards but we were let down. Slowly we got used to the place and adjusted ourselves , nothing much to do about it. Car parking is outside the hotel and in an open area. Gym is dysfunctional-nothing is there. Only a good view from the terrace/balcony next to it.

Area near the reception looks nice and the breakfast was nice. The staff was good and attended to all the guests.

Just having a lot of technical difficulties with door locks and stuff. Had bad parking. Took an expensive car and was not going to park it at a open ground away from the property. Buffet was very unheigenic.

Kitchen opens at only 7.45 am and if we order tea, that takes another 30 minutes.

The breakfast choices were good. The staff were courteous. The location was also very good.

The size of the bedrooms and unavailability of the dormitory for the drivers.

I along with my family had stayed in Villa - 107 from 29th April till 31st April, 2025. The property is well maintained and there are line of villas dotted throughout the property. There is a buggy service available from the reception to the rooms and vice-versa, as and when required through a call via intercom. Coming to the food, we had breakfast and dinner . The breakfast spread was elaborate and was decent in taste. The dinner spread too had a variety of dishes and pleasing to the tastebud. Coming to the villa, the bedrooms were of decent size along with a drawing and a sit out attached to one of the bedrooms. I would have liked the size of the bedrooms to be a bit more spacious. There is in room heaters provided in each bedroom, television and a wardrobe with side tables on each side of the bed. The suggestion I have is to create a dormitory for the drivers who are coming with the travellers , because it is quite uncomfortable to sleep inside the car with the temperature falling. Overall it was a decent stay and was happy with the service provided.

Parking was unmanned. After a long and tiring journey, I had to park unassisted in a parking lot a few mins away from the hotel. Signs reading ‘parking at owner’s risk’ - this was a sore sight. I should not have to worry about the safety of my car if I’m coming to a hotel/resort. The reception arranged a day trip for my family for sightseeing in an Innova. The driver Mohan was very helpful and well-behaved. They charged ₹5500 for this service out of which ₹2000 rupees was for the veg meal for 4 adults. They did not mention anything about the meal or that they actually had non-veg options when I had booked the service. Overall, it was not value for money for the ₹15k per room per night I had spent.
