Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Nothing to complain about. The location would be confusing on google maps. Getting your cab driver connect with the owner will make it lot easier.
Property is very clean, the hosts were very helpful. They helped my parents (senior citizens) plan their Puri and Konark local sight seeing trips.

Best homely place to stay in Puri. Walking distance from Puri Temple and is a very pleasant property. Kitchen with fridge and required utensils available in case you wish to prepare homemade food or tea as per your convenience. Mr. & Mrs. Narayan Dash are very welcoming and kind hosts who love to provide their best guidance for your travel. Thank you!

The owner is helpful and very knowledgable about the city and the shree Jagannath temple. He gave us lot of tips about how to not get cheated in the temple, how to find cheaper transportations and how to visit other tourists destinations in the town.

Spacious room for 4 people. Kitchen option is also available, but we used it only to make tea. Parking space available (approach lane is narrow). Room could have been cooler, but we stayed comfortably.

Both husband and his wife's nature is very gentle and kind.

Mr Narayana Dash and his wife were very welcoming and nothing was a problem for them. Mr Dash gave us his expert guidance which made our visit very easy and pleasant. We will definitely stay there again and recommend it highly especially if you are travelling with family.

The compound of property was unclean and had sand and construction materials lying around. The approach and attitude of the owner was terrible. He treated us as though he was doing a great favour on us by granting us stay in his place. He was quite reluctant to provide the facilities we asked for, rightfully, as follows - 1) initially there was just only 1 towel provided for 4 people, 3 more were given quite reluctantly after I insisted, 2) there was one small blanket for 2 people, the owner was annoyed when I asked for one more, 3) the AC remote was given to me with a warning to use only 2 buttons on it and that he would fine RS 350, if it got damaged, 4) he said we had to return before 10 pm as the gates would close then and said it was written on booking.com. I didn't find any such rule mentioned on the site, 5) the last and the worst part was the check out. He was extremely rigid about the time which was 7 am saying he had other guests checking in. Despite the adjoining rooms being vacant he refused to give us any extra time just to sit comfortably. We LITERALLY, sat OUTSIDE for 1 and a half hour, on small, uncomfortable BENCHES with heaps of sand, dust, construction materials lying around the place AND MONKEYS JUMPING ABOUT. 6) his way of communication is very arrogant and offensive, he was stressed out due to the illness of his grandson and that rubbed on us the wrong way. Thoroughly unprofessional approach. Mind you, all of us, 4 ladies are all 60+ of age. I wouldn't recommend the place to ANYONE.
The room and beds were clean and spacious. There was hot water for the bath. Mosquito nets,repellents were provided. Drinking water,gas and utensils were in place. There was a table with four chairs. He gave us the contact number of taxi owners.

We had a bad experience with our booking as we had called them and extended for another day a month before our trip, however on the day booking we came to know that the property was booked for someone else too and asked us to shift. We had to cancel our extended plan and they returned the amount. Not a very pleasant experience

Too much money mind talks while booking and check-in . As if people don't need to pay money we were so tired at night when we travel by trains from Kolkata but when we finally reached mid night we were bombarded with pestered with lot of talking and payment despite of initial 50% payment . Internet was also put off at night .Towels were also not provided proactively. Self advertisement to put good reviews to give 5 star rating as feedback without understanding that what customer experience guest feel . Rooms were too far is as family together.
