There was no power throughout the evening and it is unbelievable that such a big property doesn't even have power back up for basic lighting. Even if you don't have the budget for a proper inverter/generators, having rechargeable bulbs costs just Rs. 400 per bulb with 4-6 hours backup. Since ooty doesn't need fans or AC, the power consumption for lighting is so low and still you cannot provide power backup for lights and rather your customers suffer in the dark. It is disappointing that in 2025 when having power back is so cheap, we have to live in a hotel without lights at night after paying money.

The rooms were as shown in the photos, the beds were clean, the bathroom was clean, but the house is a little old and needs paintwork and some modifications to make it look modern.

Water for drinking they provided they said it's RO water but when we poured in our plastic bottle to take it away, it's colour was palace yellow. Don't know what will happen but we drank 4 bottles unknowingly. Inside the villa alley, road is broken, it must be mended so as to move easily.

Good clean room. Good service. Whenever I am calling the guys are coming to help within few minitues. Price is bit high compared to few places.

I recently spent two lovely days at Sumana Stays in Ooty, and I have to say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. Personalized Service: What stood out the most was the personalized service. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, always making sure I had everything I needed. They even anticipated my needs before I did, which made me feel truly taken care of. Comfortable Accommodations: The room itself was cozy and well-appointed, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. And having free parking available was such a relief, especially for someone like me who drove to the hotel. Convenient Location: I also appreciated the location of Sumana Stays. It was just the right distance from the city center – not too far to be inconvenient, but far enough to escape the noise and crowds. It felt like a peaceful oasis amidst the beauty of Ooty.

I felt it is overpriced, rooms are congested. the room i got was leaking with water. It had rooms on top. Where the water comes? From bathroom of top floor?? Not sure. In short, i got a leaking room for 7500 rupees

I got corner apartment close to back side of the road. Bit concerned on the security. If they can keep a security guard, will help in peaceful stay

New property and facilities are excellent. They got highly supportive teams helped in organising local trips, medical emergencies and guided very well This place is one the main road and good connectivity
