How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The stay has been very pleasant, the hotel is very clean and staff is very helpful, especially Anil Kumar, he has been very very helpful through out the stay and the services are excellent.

Too much use of plastic bottles. They should place glass bottles in room instead of plastic bottles.

The housekeeping was not great, things were not cleaned a 100%. We got 2 cards for our room but 1 of them was constantly not working and couldn't be fixed by the staff.
Great location, nice rooms and ameneties.

- Towels were not clean, although they had been washed, but they were pretty worn out and old. - The staff was very rude and unhelpful. I have 3 instances to share - Firstly when I called for booking, I was dealt with very rudely. I wanted to request a hard/firm mattress due to an issue with my spine, but the guy on the phone replied to me very rudely. I thought maybe bcoz it's late night, that's why the executive is talking to me rudely. Second time when I called to enquire about car parking, again I was not explained things properly and clearly. And thirdly when I reached the hotel for checkin, the guy at the desk first rudely asked me to wait. And he didn't even give me a smile or make me feel welcomed. Then a second guy came, who was dressed casually, he spoke nicely to me. Once payment was done, nobody even bothered to show me the room. Severe lack of hospitality. - The third issue I had during my stay here was lack of hard/firm mattress. They could change it on customers request. When you can have extra beds for a charge, so you can also have extra firm mattresses and change them as per customers requirement.
The room had a separate kitchen and drawing room area. Bathroom was very good. I was pleasantly surprised to see the room. It was very good. Lighting control system was also very modern. - I LOVED THE LIGHTING IN THE ROOM - IT WAS VERY WELL LIT, UNLIKE OTHER HOTELS! I would love to come back to this hotel again and again because of the lighting in the room - it was SUPER! Hotels should always give ample lighting in the rooms- and it should be the customers choice whether they want to keep the lighting dim or bright. THANKYOU VERY MUCH FOR SUCH GOOD LIGHTING IN THE ROOM!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly welcoming and kind — it really made a difference. The room was spotless, cozy, and well-maintained. Everything felt fresh and comfortable. The location is perfect: close to everything, but still quiet and peaceful. We truly enjoyed our time here and would gladly stay again!

Had a wonderful stay at Svelte. Very nice and clean hotel. Perfect location for shopping. Fantastic fresh and diverse breakfast. Helpful and attentive staff (house keeping, front desk and restaurant). Will highly recommend Svelte.

Slight issues with customers who are loud adjacent to our room was annoying but it's okay. Overall was very nice stay

I was there first time in 2018, I think maintenance over the years has not been good. My room kitchette and sideboard had joice marks spilt and not cleaned and my bed cover didn’t seem to have had a good wash. Please step up cleanliness.
I enjoyed my recuperative stay and all staff were super helpful.

Response time for housekeeping staff was not that impressive; there were multiple reminders that were needed to be sent.
The Location is bang on! Mall access is literally from within the hotel. The service from the reservation team led by ABHILASH was just phenomenal. He helped and accommodated all our requests; had come here for father’s medical appointments and he was just fantastic to help us make the stay smoother- we had to take two rooms and airport pick up everything was well arranged by him

An old place, requires overall upkeep/cleanliness of the rooms and facilities. The room where I stayed on 7th floor was good.
Location. It's within/next to Saket/DLF malls, so easy to visit them, shop/done. Mediterranian corner has been added to the breakfast, which is a good development. Staff at the breakfast was very helpful with coffee request:). Staff the the reception also helped in getting the cab/auto booked.
