If you are looking for a good homestay just book it without any hesitation you will not regret it. Our stay in Darjeeling was simply unforgettable! The place was very clean and perfectly located, but what made it truly special was the amazing host. So kind, sincere, and always ready to help with a warm smile. We really felt hugged by their kindness and care throughout our stay. It felt less like a hotel and more like visiting good friends. The property is at excellent location at walking distance from Mall Road. Super excellent hospitality. Special thanks to Mr. Romel, the owner of the property, who is always there to help. He himself will help u as much as possible. Room was clean. Bathrum was clean. Bedsheets pillows everything was excellent. Last but not yhe least- Complimentary breakfast was tasty homemade hygenic food.

Pretty cold inside in spring (and a bit stuffy due to general coldness & humidity). Of course a general "geographical problem", but there were (semi well working) heaters for an extra charge.

Lovely host who showed us around, helped with public transport etc. Good location in the city.

Great location a few steps from the clock tower and a short walk to the Mall Road and Observatory Hill. A nice family run operation. Our host Romel provided an abundance of information about what to do locally. He spoke excellent English and each morning at breakfast we had extensive discussion about the local economy and much more.

The lock of Room No. 202 is ok, but when you want to close the door (without the key), the door does not shut properly (in our case it wasn't a major problem). The entrance side of the gully is not clean (though the hotel owner has nothing to do with it because the behaviour of the neighbours are not in the hands of the hotel hosts).

It was a great experience with SVR Inn and behaviour of their stuffs are too good and friendly. Their responses on any Kinds of requirements were super fast. Since I was stayed only one night but the experience was good. Missed the breakfast because we leave early morning. I'm recommending them based on my experience.
