Everything was great! The staff were very polite and friendly, the food was lovely, the room was very nice! We would love to return again in future. This hotel made the end of our holiday relaxing and enjoyable, we only wish we’d booked for longer. The kids loved the pool!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Tej Hotel with my family, and it was truly a delightful experience. Absolutely marvellous, superb hospitality. Very clean and the customer service is breathtaking. We couldn't fault a single thing. Breakfast was also delicious and had vast choices. One small note: we believe more attention to detail in the room’s cleanliness would enhance the overall experience. In some areas, we noticed dust, which slightly detracts from the otherwise pleasant image of this beautiful hotel.

We were absolutely delighted to spend at least one night at this hotel — it’s just a shame it was only one! We would have loved to stay longer, but our journey had to continue. What we appreciated most was the rooftop pool, a truly relaxing spot complete with a bar and excellent services. The breakfast was rich and well-served, and all the activities offered by the hotel really enriched our stay. The location is also strategic — just a 10-minute walk from the Taj Mahal, which was incredibly convenient.

So near to the Taj Mahal, specially at full moon night it was so easy to access with small kids. 5 star hotel with a local friendly vibe of the staff. The pool has a Taj view. Easy to drive from Delhi straight road to the Hotel via the Taj expressway.

Only 6 sunbeds for the pool, which were taken by 1 family when we arrived. Leak in our window, meant our entire windowsill was drenched (annoyingly where we'd left our swim wear to dry)

We had a great time at Taj Agra! The staff was very attentive, we had a small issue with our booking and the reception personnel helped fixed it. Also during the breakfast another staff member Meghna helped us with choosing local food and we really enjoyed it. They also had several entertainment options in the evening. The facilities are very modern, the rooftop terrace with the pool is nice, we definitely recommend this hotel!

From the lavish, elegantly designed rooms to the exciting activities for kids like puppet show, pottery making, personalized sketches. Every detail was perfectly curated. The breakfast and dinner spread was extravagant, offering a mind-blowing variety of cuisines—Indian, Continental, Asian—each dish more delicious than the last. Every bite was finger-licking good, leaving me craving more. Beyond the exquisite food, what truly touched my heart was the kindness and warmth of the staff. From the reception to room service and the restaurant, everyone went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. When we arrived by car, no staff came to assist us with our luggage. We had to unload all our bags ourselves, and only after we had enter the hotel the staff approached us. It was not much of a deal but they do expect tips from you , but we had already done the heavy lifting. Everything else was good.

Breakfast buffet was good. We stayed in suite, so the room size was very good and spacious for 3 adults and 1 kid. The view from pool of Taj Mahal was mesmerizing. My daughter had lovely time in pool and the food options in breakfast and dinner buffet were good and ample. The Taj Mahal "Noor e Taj" show conducted in evening was good and my daughter enjoyed it a lot. There was puppet show and pottery making also.

The menu and food did not meet our expectations. We ordered a pizza and it was cold, with the cheese not melted. Also, the options for cocktails/drinks were made with boxed juices with only two flavor varieties. Because of this, they could be better, and the preparation of the drinks was not correct according to the cocktails requested. Also, in the hallways on each floor, there were no signs indicating the direction of the room numbers.

The check in and the staff takes extra effort to meet your expectation. The front desk at the time of. Heck in. And the chefs at the restaurant. Chef Praveen and Chef Ashish made us feel Like home. The things that were less successful for us: in the shower, the water spills out and is difficult to drain. The rooftop pool is very beautiful, but the chemicals used left a very sour taste in the water, almost burning, and they stained our swimsuits. This was a less pleasant experience for us, but it doesn’t take away from the fact that we really enjoyed the hotel overall.

The room was very beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The staff was lovely, helpful with anything we needed, and very courteous. The hotel’s location is excellent—within walking distance from the Taj Mahal and relatively quiet.
