The swimming pool was not maintained and insects were found in the water. This prevented us from venturing into the pool

The accommodation was excellent and had a traditional ambience. The food and the breakfast provided were very good even though the spread was limited. The staff were courteous and went out of the way to welcome the guests and take care of the comfort. They were also proactive and organised a sunset boat cruise quickly and the boat was ready by the time we arrived at the property. Overall an enjoyable experience and definitely worth recommending

Some rooms had visible mould on the walls. Some seating around the pool would be good for relaxing in the sun.

A lovely heritage building located on a canal and near the public ferry to cross Lake Vembanada. Well maintained swimming pool. Breakfast was excellent with fruit, eggs, toast, tea, coffee and different Indian food items daily. Dinner isn't currently available at the hotel but the manager will help you order from local restaurants. Comfy bed, good wifi.

There is no bar with drinks and snacks on the hotel. Once the area is quite isolated, it would be good to have these facilities at the hotel. However, the staff can get you drinks if you ask.

It was so calm. It would be great if there was some activity for the guests like an open theatre, etc ... The pool was closed at 7 pm, which was so early. At least for older people's the pool should be kept open. Children can be avoided after 7 pm. There were no soaps and toothpaste. Kindly include them in the rom service.

Noisy family taking over the pool one evening. Staff member knocking on our door to tell us that breakfast was being served.

Beautiful heritage hotel, with rooms overlooking a lovely pool. Staff are a bit lacking at times, and we didn't appreciate being woken at 7:30 by the security guard asking for a tip ! The restaurant was closed on our first night but no alternative eateries were suggested. Those minus points aside, we would definitely stay again because it was such a beautiful place and , for the most part, peaceful. Note to management: the serene ambience of the place is one of its highlights. Please don't allow noisy families with screaming children to disrupt this.

The room was good with old Kerala style build and pool side view from balcony was also good. It was near to boat jetty and had good number of shops/food places nearby. Breakfast served was good and ample in quantity.

Unlike the pictures on booking.com, there is no chairs near the pool. No place to sit outside your bedrooms, except the balcony which was dark and full of mosquitoes. No bedside table and light. Wifi in bedrooms is unstable and extremely weak Second night, they change the sheets but did not put new ones because of laundry issue. I understand it happens. It would be OK if I didn't have to ask 5 times to get sheets. Last request was at 10:30 pm and finally the laundry was delivered. Very close to the temple with songs as early as 4:30 am, which makes it impossible to sleep.

Very cute buildings and bedrooms furniture. Beds were comfortable. Very convenient to get on the boat for a day trip (can be arranged by the hotel staff) or to take the public ferry. Cleanliness was OK, yet there is room for improvement. Pool was pleasant.

The property does not justify the high price. The overall experience did not meet expectations, especially considering the cost. The breakfast provided was also below standard and could be significantly improved.

The property rooms were below average. The beds were bad and was moving when a person turn to the sides.The room was having dampness smell and we were waiting outside for half an hour for the smell to subside. There was no pool benches.
