To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

LatviaThe facility itself was great a guess in 70s or 80s. Now the rooms need to be fully renovated. The bed linen and sheets all must be changed as they have seen years of washing. Bed cover - is all dirty with stains of any color you can imagine - putting it on bed i would tell is already an offence. Spots from bleach... holes from cigarettes... Needs to be refreshed to sum it up. Would recommend to open a separate bar somewhere around lobby - instead of cake shop. Current coffee shop or another bar/restaurant does not meet that format.
The stuff was friendly. Nice atmosphere of an old tidy hotel in lobby. Good green area around. Very nice place named Ophelia near the hotel - at the hotel territory, they serve very nice cocktails and decent food.

IndiaFood was pathetic. Nothing is free anymore. Breakfast is also not free. I paid for a room that included breakfast. I didn’t take breakfast on 26th April after my experience on 24th and 25th. Bread was stake and hard Upma was dry and stale No variety for vegetarians. Things like vegetable Monaco etc nobody touched because it was not good. Cold coffee was made of water! Tea had taste of burnt milk. I have always stayed at 5 stars and Ashok was my first experience. In comparison this was the worst I have experienced. Waste of money and never coming back again. Hotel was full of cockroaches. Especially in the washroom outside of the coffee shop. Disgusting!

SingaporeThere was a baby cockroach in the bathroom. The wifi was weak for online meeting. The room key card had to be re-activated almost everyday. The walk from the hotel lobby to the hotel room was not pleasant. I had to pass by several unopened shop spaces that look very old.
The bottled water. I enjoyed the swimming pool and the restaurant next to the swimming pool (D'Monde Club).

IndiaStaff at reception need to have good knowledge of the bookings. Booking.com mentioned child’s stay is included but reception person was not aware. They did not mention about the amenities available and they didn’t tell me about the breakfast etc. property is poorly maintained and sort all over! Booking.com should make it clear that this property is owned and run by the Government!!!!!!!
