How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewNo star-comfort, but very clean basic hotel. Great hospitality! No breakfast as out of season but chai and coffee were offered on the very cosy rooftop. They offered us a wonderful guided tour in the city. Very informative, no blabla and commercial visits. And the proposed restaurant was also very good. So, super clean, super nice staff, very good location! We were happy to stay there.

Verified reviewA great place to enjoy Pushkar at a reasonable price. The location is perfect! Everything is in walking distance. There is a fantastic view from the rooftop terrace on mountains, temples and the lake. Very tasteful decoration! The stuff is always willing to help. They also arrange a temple walking tour and train tickets. Highly recommended!

Verified reviewThe terraces are amazing, for resting, looking at the view, reading, or having a delicious and healthy breakfast, and good coffee. Room is big, clean, and well equipped. The staff is lovely and super helpful with anything. Little flowers and rose smell welcome you at the entrance, such a nice touch!

Verified reviewCutest little hotel in Pushkar! The location is prime, the room was super clean and comfortable, and the staff was so very lovely and helpful. Rhey also have not one but 2 rooftops, with 360 view of the city. Recommend 100%! Would definitely stay there again.

Verified reviewBrahma Space is wonderful! Ranjeet welcomed us in to his lovely place and we had the best stay. The rooms are comfortable and cozy with everything you need. The rooftop where you can get breakfast and relax has beautiful views and is the perfect place to read a book in the afternoon. The breakfast was really yummy, the overnight oats were especially good. It is a great location, only a few minutes from the lake and many temples but also very quiet. We couldn’t recommend this place enough and we really hope to come back one day!

Verified reviewThe Brahma Space is an absolutely exceptional place in terms of atmosphere and comfort. We liked particularly the common space on the roof. We could sit there all day and chill. The personel is very kind and helpful which makes the stay a very pleasant experience. We recommend breakfast in Brahma which is delicious. It is also worth going on a city tour with a guide recommended by Brahma owner. Rooms are very clean and spacious. We hope to comeback there one day again!

Verified reviewThe room was very clean and central in Pushkar, on a slightly less busy side street to the market road. The lake, shops and restaurants were very accessible. The staff were helpful and recommended a fantastic guide who took us on a very informative 3 hr tour for 500 INR each. Nice breakfast options and terrace.
The property was very peaceful which was nice, but may not be appropriate for those looking for a more lively setting.

Verified reviewI had an amazing experience at The Brahma Space. Clean, lively rooms and a cosy roof top cafe called the Flying Hamsa. The cafe has a captivating 360° view of the town. You can sit there and get immersed losing the track of time. Ranjeet and Lisa are the sweetest hosts I have ever come across. Their recommendations and insights about the town were of tremendous help to me.

Verified reviewI love the vibes of the city and the guest house was a part of it. I have been welcomed by the owner and she was very nice and helpfull. The location was great, near shops, restaurants, temples... The room and the whole hotel was super clean. Bedsheets, cover ( it was cold in the city) was really appreciated. The bathroom had a soap and a towel.Super clean as well. The breakfast was a dream, on the roof viewing the whole city. I had the homemade oat which i highly recommend. I will definitly come back. I loved it.
