Washroom were a little dirty, maybe cleaning them frequently would have be nice.

The location is approx 5 km far away from the main Darjeeling town.

The location of the hotel is very below from the mall road and tough to find out... You have to afford hard to climb up to reach the mall road and it took almost 30 minutes hiking... Tougher if you have heavy baggage... But the owner of the property is very 'my dear' type. No geaser in the bathroom, but have a big buthtub

One of the best hostel in Darjeeling staying here for almost 1 month in love with bunkyard hostel .. host Bappan and his wife titli are amazing in 40 days I have enjoyed a lot one of my best time in 2024 even locals are very good and friendly they are like my family. "One thing I want to say that I lost my mom and dog this year so I shifted to Darjeeling for same peace in my life ...but one of a boy age 20 year came recently for volunteering ...he literally triggered me and made fun of my health condition ...and depression and what I m dealing with .. I kept my calm ....as he is like my lil brother and I didn't share this to any one even with the host but today I m writing it ..." But it's okay not all fingers are same .i m enjoying my life in Darjeeling I m in love with Darjeeling...ll come again soon Enjoying my last few weeks in Darjeeling..

Location is fantastic with clear kanchanjunga view. It's bit far but view is amazing, lovely owners & staffs. Food is also quite cheap and tasty.

I loved the warm hospitality, cozy atmosphere, and delicious home-cooked meals! The hosts were so friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home.

Horrible thing to climb up for 30 mins to reach the place. There was no electricity! Wasted my 3 days of holiday by falsely keeping me somewhere else and then again had to pack and climb up another 15 mins steep to hostel. Some fatso man interferes and was shouting, you gotta eat dinner by 10pm, bla bla. Why you sleeping till 11am? I mean, get a life - we are on a holiday! Extremely intimidating space. Luckily I stayed in another place later which had beautiful view of Darjeeling/Kurseong. There is a fatso who is too frustrated to interfere in your eating schedule, sleeping schedule. His every word was with profanity using “Bara” in each sentence which means d*ck in english, this is the fatso staff at the hostel! It felt like a slum where staff is using profanity continually! And also the hostel bed was filled with fungus as no one stayed there for over a week or more, huge spiders crawled in bed while you sleep. It takes 1 hour to fill 1 bucket, hot water is so slow in this place! You live isolated, no social interaction! They wasted my 3 days of holiday and made me sick since I could barely sleep, extremely discomforting - you can’t sleep properly too!

Nothing! Just a trap here! All reviews are fake, not guests! Except for the European who gave 4/10. Extremely inhospitable and discomforting!
