How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Room provided to me was very very small and a locked window. Most of their rooms are without any window.

The bed sheet was smelling. Loud music at night at the hotel’s discotheque was very disturbing.

(i) Lift doesn't operate on 5th floor therefore if you've luggage you may struggle (ii) Room was not properly cleaned. Dust particles felt while walking bare foot in the room.
(i) first of all I'm smoker therefore there are plenty of rooms for non-smokers (ii) I'm Ex REC-Durgapur student therefore if visiting NIT, Durgapur this best located hotel (iii) There are many eating place nearby so lunch/dinner is at all no issue

They don't have watchable TV channels as they all are paid and theybdo not subscribe to paid channels. I stayed for 5 days and first two days was in a room with no reading lights and no bed side controls.Then shifted to a suite room which albite being expensive was good

Distance from the station is an issue.
Food , nearness to the shopping area. Cleanliness in the hotel was good. A shop attached to hotel was convenient. staff was helpful.

The front of the house was bit untrained specially one of the girl in front office dont know how speak or handle a guest. Specialy if you ask any assitance she will reply i will send my boy instead of saying i will send some assistance, its shows that she own someone specially her tone and body language are inpropriate.
The service was good. Housekeeping always did their best, even maintainance are also quiet good.

The size of the room was smaller than the other 2 rooms I booked. In my room fridge was also not there. The swimming pool was dirty and not functional. The reason for booking the hotel was to avail pool facilities which didn't fulfilled. I would have booked some other hotel then.
The breakfast was good and the location was very nice.Plus the design of the hotel was nice.

By doing some improvements in bath rooms like affixing doors in bath place. Keeping hair dryer etc

the room was exceptionally small with dull dust laden wall paint that was mouldy in some places. the shower ran out of hot water! the linen was very old and lost its whiteness. the linen didnt look like it was washed properly. the furniture was old and the TV was mounted on a wall that was made of piece board that had wires coming thru it.

Who gives wifi for only 2 devices these days? Washroom and sheets were not so clean. They didn’t provide a single large bed as booked rather joined 2 twin beds, very inconvenient. Shower water drains through the washroom floor making the entire bathroom wet and unusable.
