The rooms were a little small. It seems to be a bit of party hostel, which is great for some people, but not if you want a peaceful night's sleep

I was charged a service fee via RazorPay which was over and above the total price and gst. Such service fees by the payment gateway should be charged to the service provider and not the end customers.

Staff : One staff at reception was not professional, when I was asking about locker keys, he was busy talking on mobile and then computer screen etc. But wasn't really attending to me. Fee : additional fee charged while making payment via razor pay, such charges shouldn't be billed to customers, this should be absorbed by the property.

Very nice interior of room, beds, open balcony. Nice Swimming pool. Nice Lobby.

Cleanliness was bit below levels of the brand especially the swimming pool. I've stayed at the Hostiler before and they were way better and neat in terms of cleanliness compared to this one in candolim.

The property is at prime location everything is easily accessible from it.

The staff needs to help pick / drop luggage for room’s assigned on 2nd floor - climbing up 2 storey is uncomfortable, with luggage. The reception staff needs to be more supportive accommodating of guest requests & attentive to welcome them with bell boy support. Self loading luggage is a nightmare. Toilet paper & soap supply needs to be maintained. Water supply on 2nd floor is important

The rooms are very damn, as soon as you enter the rooms, it smells like it hasn't been opened for ages. Their AC's aren't very well serviced, and it takes a lot of time to cool.

I would have appreciated if there was a cafe.

The location is very good, the candolim beach is a 5-minute walk from the property. The staff was very cooperative and supportive. We lived in a dorm (6x6), the room size was sufficient, only issue was that it had a single attached washroom and bathroom, rest everything was good. Dominoes is on the ground floor so go to restro for midnight cravings.

There is a no cash policy which was an issue for the payments and there is no way to lock the doors to ensure nobody that’s not assigned the room can enter like how’s it’s available in most others hostels I have stayed in over the years
