Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Visibility to reach this place becomes extremely bad, almost dangerous at night times when it's foggy. Rest all good.

Some common area where yoga practice would be possible would make it excellent. I just stayed there for one night, maybe i didn't explore everything.
Big rooms! Super amenities in the room. Nice common area. Good selection at the restaurant.

Room spacious , nice views and big bed. The people that work there were very helpful and friendly. The location was way far away from Munnar, you need a taxi or motorbike. The restaurant wasn’t that great and requires and app.

People smoking like crazy in the room and crazy dirty bathroom after a short while.
This place made me change my mind about hostels. It is modern. It is private. It is legendary hosts. Its a bit more pricy than regular hostels and guesthouses. But the quality and aura is also better. Great community. Mostly indians.

Dorms felt a little too warm. And there were no events conducted by the hostel when we were their for 2 days. Also, to rent a scooty we have to go to Munnar which is 20kms from the property which becomes a bit challenging. Also they serve only vegetarian food which is north Indian even though we're in Kerala.
The property is secluded, peaceful and even the build is great. I stayed in 4 bed dorm and it felt like a 1 BHK so that experience was great.

There was no meat options so had to travel to local areas. Should cater to both veg and non-veg.
I liked the property and the view as it’s was nice and quiet. With the odd party groups. Maybe noise should be cut off to enjoy the tranquility by 10/11 pm and early starters.

Paying for food online and other difficulties with making payments online - I think it would be better if the hostel just did it the old school way and didn’t use apps ect, but I guess that’s just the way with big hostel chains….
Amazing staff, so clean and big rooms, really comfortable beds, elt so comfortable, the manager was very helpful and kind. Great spot for sunsets and close to wonderful hiking spots. Situated in a really nice quiet village.

The location is not best if you do not have transport to get to it, as its a bit far from the town center. The restaurant opens at 9am, and there is nothing around if you wake up earlier.

There only nature around. Don't expect to find any store. From Munnar the hostel was 23 km far away and not 12 as it was written. To reach the room there are several steps to take. To reach Munnar with the rickshaw is not less than 800 rupees.
The double room was unexpectedly big. The silence there was stunning. The whole structure was incredible and it was really a pleasure to walk around in the structure itself. Room was simple and clean. The floor seemed to be dirty, but most probably was the kind of wood itself. The stuff, young men, was very kind and helpful. The view outside was breathtaking. If you are looking for some silence and work without distractions it's the perfect place.

- Payment by card options were a hassle for non-indian, same for food payment. Food options were poor and not great quality. - Hot water in the room was not working properly, when it came it took several minutes and I had to shower with cold water half of the time - Location is very far from everything, with nothing around it. If you don’t have a bike or scooter, it’s very uncomfortable to move around, and expensive (tuktuk was minimum 700-800 rupees)
Spacious and comfortable room, great view from balcony, nice common area with view of the valley, quietness all around, you could hear mostly nature sounds (birds and animals)
