The checkin process was very complicated. They don't accept cash money. Location is very far. Lungs were out while walking to reach there. College students always disturb in bunk beds. They drink, they shout, they watch loud reels, they even do sex in their bunk beds. It was disturbing.

The host, cleanliness and they provide iron for clothes as well.

Located almost at the top of the mountain, the location and view from the common terrace area is amazing. Its only a 10-15 minutes walk from mall road, but the climb could be exhausting for non trekkers. The north indian veg food was amazing. Highly recommended for solo and group travellers.

It's very good stay for couples and friends. I want to inform you that, the hotel location near the mall road but as per the shimla government mall road is no vehicle zone area , so u need to walk at least 15 to 20 min to visit the hotel otherwise hotel facilities and staff behaviour is every good. And I am happy with this property

Walking to the hotel from Mall road with luggage was a challenge. The receptionist did not remind us that our room booking is breakfast inclusive. Room did not have heater; heater is essential in winter months.

Great place to stay. 'Glu' app / website to be used for the services such as shower gel refilling, towel change, ordering food, coffee, etc. Quick service is done as soon as we place the request. It is a Self service place. Free WiFi is available and good strength. The location is very good and walkable to the ridge.

There are too many stairs leading up to the property. I visited in February, so the cold was such that heaters would have really helped. The food prepared is of large portions, the menu could be changed accordingly.

The manager and staff are very helpful and friendly. They will help with any problem you would have. Games and cards are available for the guests to use. Breakfast and food in general is good, albeit a little pricey. Better to explore nearby cafes and restaurants. Mall Road has some good places for food. I think the distance from Mall Road to the hostel was just good enough, apt for a morning walk. Most places are easily accessible.

- Freezing in the room - it would be good to add a heater during winter time to make the dormitory more comfortable :) - Flooded in the bathroom when taking a shower - Wifi not properly working in the room - Acceptance of big group of people (i.e. 12) and therefore can be quite noisy in the dormitory..

Heater shouldn't cost extra Considering you can get AC room for the price normally since it's a hotel in a cold climate the heater should be included with the room. Someone should help the luggage up the stairs They are steep
