Overpriced in my opinion. Bathrooms need maintenance as they are moldy. Hot water lasts about 3 minutes. Rooms are dark and lacking natural light as they are all on the ground floor. Breakfast took an hour even though they asked for my timing the night before.

Bed was comfortable. Room was clean and spacious.

Issue should not have occurred in the first place. No flexibility shown on check-out time though they did not have a single guest in the property.

The manager, Mr. Anthony upgraded my room as the previous room had a musty smell owing to the rainy weather. A kind gesture.

Ivy House was tucked away from the hustle and bustle of busy Kolkata and set in a lovely greenery atmosphere. The cafe was very handy. All the staff were really friendly and helpful.

All in all it was an excellent experience! The staff of Ivy house deserves special mention ! Rakesh was solicitous and called a day before check in to ensure smooth processing! Raju was our wonderful chef! Vishwanath and Uttam were cheerful and made sure we had a blessed stay !

Breakfast continental options were superb , Indian options could be expanded! Buffet was superlative!!

The Ivy House was a revelation! We were kindly upgraded to the Lotus suite, the room was very comfortable and well-maintained. Staff were polite and welcoming. We would definitely return again!

The rooms are on the ground floor and are a little dark even during the day. There are many lights but the full lighting is still insufficient.

Pretty little accommodation. Comfortable stay with all basic amenities. Good breakfast. Good location. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The walk-in shower area was not very clean the first two nights and we thought it was actually part of the wear and tear. Once they missed cleaning our room so the next day when they thoroughly made up for it the shower area actually looked a lot cleaner than we found it the first night.

This was our second stay at the property. My mother has mobility issues so she finds this place greatly convenient as the rooms are on the ground floor and she loves being able to walk around the lovely garden space. The cafe has some of the best Indian breakfast in town! Ivy is more like home than hotel - don't expect everything to be on the dot but the staff will go out of the way to accommodate any requests and that's what keeps us coming back!

The housekeeping doesn’t necessarily happen each day unless you ask for it specifically. The butter/salt/pepper sachets were expired but immediately replaced.

The staff at the Ivy House was extremely kind, prompt and helpful to the smallest of the needs. The breakfast was great with a lot of options to choose from. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The location of the hotel is great too

The staff were all so kind, friendly and helpful, thank you. The place is a little haven in the middle of Kolkata, quiet once in the rooms. The entrance is full of flowers, the rooms beautifully furnished, spacious, clean, and comfortable. Was great to come back to after a day in Kolkata.

The stay here was excellent. As a solo female traveller, i felt safe and taken care off. Rakesh, Ronnie, Raju Da, Uttam Da and Bishwanath Da all took good care of me. Very happy with the location, easy availability of public transport and good facilities. Must visit place and very much recommended.

Neat and cozy comfort space in the noise and mess of a big city! Friendliest staff always ready to help. Decent breakfast. Beautiful rooms. Nice terrace with a little garden - perfect for a quiet breakfast before you start your day. 15 min walk to Birla temple(you can even do that in the evening, the temple looks even better with the lighting). Oh, yes, they offer you a laundry service - which is really priceless if Kolkata is not your first stop in India and you need a bit of refreshing for your clothes. Yep, it's a bit pricy in compare with the other hotels but it's definitely worth the money and I can only recommend it for a stay!

We have been staying at this property since 2019 but over the years the quality has honestly downhill! The room was full of dirt, dust & small cockroaches. Anywhere we touched there were layers of dirt. We even complained about the cockroaches but the reception seemed least bothered. Plus their breakfast menu hasn’t upgraded since 2019, high time to vamp it up and do extensive cleaning and fumigation.
