This is not something related to the hotel, but a word of advice that avoid visiting during the rush season. The hotel is located on the main road to one of Udaipur's major attractions and is often congested. If you are travelling in your own car, then you will most definitely be stuck in traffic for a long time. On top of it, if you are visiting during rainy season then that will surely create issues with your plans.

I like the room. We have 4 people in the family, including 2 kids. We do not prefer to book separate rooms, and in most places it is required since the rooms are not big enough to include the whole family. However, here the room was big and spacious with an extra bed. So that was a real plus point for our stay here. The room was also comparatively clean and the staff was helpful enough.

I had a confirmed booking through booking.com....Some hotel staff via telecon asking me to pay 50% of the booking amount when I was on my way to the hotel and was in train

No safe in the room. A/C set to the minimum and yet the temperature in the room was high. The front desk had a nerve to call at 10:00 to “remind” in an unfriendly way that the checkout was at 10am. There was nobody waiting for that room. The hotel occupancy was very low. There were only 5 people at breakfast. It was totally unnecessary and simply toxic. Somebody should train the guy at the front desk that you do things like that to annoy people, not to leave a good lasting impression.

Power outage for 5 to 10 mins or so very early in the morning... but they did mention issue with generator ... so it wasnt a major turn off as it got resolved very quickly.

We did not like the fact that we were unable to pay with our credit cards, which we used many times in other places in Udaipur. Hotel staff tried to process the payment 5 or 6 times in 2 separate occasions in 2 different days, but the cards were "rejected", so we had to go for ATM at the end.

We had a nice stay in this hotel with a lovely rooftop restaurant, where we had a very good dinner. The hotel location is about 15 min walk to the lake and palace or just 2 minutes by car.

Staff were not super helpful. Felt like they were just showing up to man the front desk and offered zero inspiration on what we could do or see in Udaipur.
