Staffs behaviour is very good. Hotel is at main road and nearer to Nehru enclave metro station. Rooms are clean but little bit work has to be done with bathroom

Oakland Plaza was horrifying experience. A BIG NO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We stayed at here for 3 nights with family of 6 members. We booked 2 Rooms for triple occupancy at same price for both rooms. Honestly, this hotel should not be called as a hotel. The photos on the booking.com portal are completely misleading and reality is very different see my actual photos. We cannot believe the good reviews are genuine !! There are multiple issues with this hotel: - Unclean, unhygienic, dust is everywhere. There were cockroaches in room, bathroom and breakfast buffet area. - No Ventilation & strange smells in rooms - Broken infrastructure. There is no maintenance and repair ( see pictures ) - No hot water for bathing. We were told to inform reception 20 mins before the bath for hot water so they can turn the heater ON & Keep running water for 30 mins. Even after following up on this, we never got the hot water. - No bathing soap. We bathed with small hand wash soaps - Initially the rooms given to us had no shower area partition/ curtain. Water was everywhere after bath. We had to ask for a room change - We did not get the third bed in one of the Rooms after repeatedly asking for it. Our one Family member had to sleep on the floor bedding. - Air conditioners in rooms are not clean, broken parts are stuck with cello/duct tape. We got severe throat infections starting second day due to unclean air pumped by the air conditioner. I hope me being a Genius level 3 member of booking.com will ensure that my review is posted higher and is visible to all travelers. Honestly in my opinion Booking.com should not be promote such properties on their portal as hotel.

- Only good part was the housekeeping and room service staff. They were very helpful, polite and came every time we called for help.

The structure appears dated, and the bathroom tiles seem to be in poor condition. The linens and elevators also seem to be quite old. I am curious as to how this hotel has received such a high rating. It is possible that the owner is posting fabricated reviews, especially considering the recent increase in ratings for all Orion hotels.
