Honestly, for the first time I am flummoxed. I really need to think of stuff I didn't like. The only annoying part was that you are searched everytime you visit the hotel, i.e., everytime you enter the bags are scanned. But this is the reality in most of the big hotels in India now and I understand this is truly required for your own security. The security staff however are always truly polite and humble. Very well done guys!

This was our first stay at Oberoi Mumbai though we have stayed previously at the other Oberoi properties. This hotel truly defines luxury and with a more than 10 year association with booking.com, this is only my third ever 10 star review. There is nothing to dislike, the staff, the genuine bending of the back to serve, going that extra mile coupled with the amazing sea view room. Special mention to Lavleen who made the check in hassle free. The breakfast spread is so amazing that it borders ridiculous. We wanted to visit Siddhi Vinayak temple and learned that they don't allow people to visit with shorts. So the hotel staff bought trousers for me using a local delivery service. I mean, let's be serious, who does that! My children who have stayed in 5 stars the world over were truly amazed by what this hotel offers.

The only drawback, which also led me to lower my rating from a 10 to 9 would be the breakfast. I prefer a buffet breakfast and I am not a big fan of having to order dishes for my breakfast. Yes some dishes like parathas and the dosas should be on order but the buffet spread should have been been better even without the hot dishes.

Everything about the hotel has a level of elegance and authenticity attached. The welcome to the room to the staff who were just amazing during each and every part of my stay at The Oberoi's. Now I know why this hotel is rated so high in Mumbai - because it is right up there.

Exceptional Stay – Felt Truly at Home! We had an amazing experience at The Oberoi Mumbai. Right from the check-in, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Everyone was so caring and courteous, which made a huge difference in our stay. A special thank you to Priya, Rishab, and Sumit – they went out of their way to make us feel at home and ensured every little detail was taken care of. Their warm hospitality truly stood out. The breakfast was outstanding – great variety, fresh ingredients, and excellent service. It was the perfect way to start our mornings. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations. The beds were ultra soft and not good for lumbar support. We got memory foam pillows on request. Also the bay view room has partial views of the city so keep that in mind. Bit bummed but I should have read the fine print I guess.

We all know the Oberoi as an iconic property in Mumbai. This was a staycation for me and my boyfriend to celebrate his birthday. And the hotel didn’t disappoint! Small touches like a decorated room with a card and cake really made special. Full points to all the staff from Akshay the duty manager and his colleagues Siya & Subhrata at check in to Mahesh the person who helped us at the exit of the hotel were exceptionally warm. Didn’t eat there but used the pool & it was very nice Will surely go back

Spacious room with amazing view of Arabian sea. Excellent service by courteous staff. For celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, they had decorated the room & kept delicious cake with card in the room. They also offered complimentary cake / dessert post our dinner too. Multi cuisine breakfast spread was also very good.
