Reviews of The Sweven Rishikesh

I loved my stay at Sweven; it was quiet and peaceful. The cherry on top was the cafe and three different places to sit and chill (unlike other hostels that offer only one common room). Here at Sweven, they have a cafe sitting area, a common room separately, and a beautiful terrace. I enjoyed my rainy days at the terrace. Moreover, it is walkable to the nearest spots or public transport. Staff, of course, was really supportive. Loved having dal kichdi at the cafe.

The property is very well managed. My room was huge, clean. Bathroom - you can dance in it😂 Everything absolutely spotless.

It’s off road property and unfortunately nothing (shop) walking distance. Especially on evening I wouldn’t be comfortable as a solo woman to walk on the street.

The stay was good and I stayed there for 2 nights. Now comes to the point Breakfast was included during the stay but not provided by the hotel because they have sprayed the pesticide in the kitchen. But on the last day of check out I asked them if breakfast was included or not however I knew that it was included. It shows how irresponsible nowadays the management staff is becoming now if I don't ask them then maybe they won't provide me the breakfast.

I had high aspirations, but my experience was disappointing. The mattress was uncomfortable, and the staff struggled with service. Cleanliness was a concern, particularly with the linens, which required repeated requests to change. Communication was difficult, as phone calls often went unanswered. Finding the location was also a challenge due to its secluded position. Unfortunately, the bathroom had a strong odor and water accumulation on the floor.

Very dirty rooms and washrooms. There was no light in washroom in the morning. The bedsheets were dirty. Upper bunk was very difficult to get to and didn’t have safety grill

My recent stay at Hotel Sweven was truly enjoyable. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hotel itself is comfortable and clean, providing a relaxing environment. What truly made my experience exceptional, however, was the outstanding service from the staff. I'd like to specifically commend Sanjay and Sunil for their incredible politeness and helpfulness. They went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met, always with a smile and a genuine desire to assist. Whether it was providing local recommendations, assisting with luggage, or simply offering a friendly greeting, their dedication to guest satisfaction was evident. The rooms were well-maintained and the amenities were more than adequate. The overall ambiance of Sweven is peaceful and inviting. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay, especially those who appreciate exceptional service. Thank you, Sweven, and especially Sanjay and Sunil, for making my trip so memorable.

Good value for money overall. Staff was very friendly. Location is very nice and very close the market and good cafes and lots of foreigners around the area :)
