Food was not upto the mark. Costly but taste and make not good

Only pros was the bathroom was stinky for some reason probably drainage problem but we didn’t raise it as we just had a night stay there. Overall it was a good stay in a beautiful property with a beautiful view.

Property at very good location. We selected mountain view and it was a magnificent view. Hotel staffs are good. Behinda, Preetika and one more manager was really helpful. Also, last night singer Anmol made the evening more beautiful. He sings really well and we loved it.

The bathroom in the Kanchenjunga cottage was not exactly great. Including the water flow in the main shower area.

We stayed in the Kanchenjunga cottage, which was quite big. The seating area in front of it offers a nice place to relax and take in the view. The breakfast was good, especially the chicken sausages. We availed the spa as well, and it was good value-for-money!

The water in the taps were a problem as the flow was not too high. But I think that is the problem for Darjeeling itself.

This is truly a heritage hotel. The building is old and give the vibe of the olden times in Darjeeling. What stood out was the behaviour of the staff. we went to this hotel with my aged mother and stayed in the Kanchenjanga suite as there were steps which had to be climbed the staff made it extremely congenial for my mother to do so. The room service was exceptinal so was the breakfast buffet. Whatever and whenever we asked the staff delivered it promptly and gladly. so hopefully will come again to enjoy this hospitality.

In the deluxe view room, the water flow from the washbasin tap in the bathroom was real slow. It had to be fixed twice during our 2 nights stay. The staff was very quick to react but ideally room number 406 bathroom needs a quality check before being let out.

Views of Kanchenjunga from the heritage terrace garden was magnificent. The view room was equally great. Morning breakfast was excellent. The Spa was excellent.

Little congested as in property is not spread over a very large area. Little things to do in the property. Food was very good but menu was having only few items. No gym in the property and even children playing area is very boring and small. Good for staying if you want to spend entire day outside in roaming around Darjeeling. But if you are looking to spend time inside hotel you then besides SPA nothing much. No swimming pool. After all its not a five star property still I would highly recommend as it is offering impressive value.

The rooms were definitely spacious with a touch of the colonial era vibes but basics need to be ticked off at the earliest, an exhaust fan is a dire requirement in the Kanchenjunga cottage, barring which the room was perfect

The prime location of the property is an advantage considering the fact that Darjeeling is a hill station where one has to do considerable walking to travel around

We had some issues with the bathroom water supply. Thankfully the issues were taken care of by the hotel house keeping staff promptly.

The location was amazing. Though we were visiting during a time when it was raining and completely covered with fog...still we found the location and view from the hotel room amazing. We took a family cottage Kanchanjunga. The room was huge, spacious, clean and had all the facilities. The decor of the room and infrastructure of the hotel actually took us back to the British era. They had a beautiful swing for children and a separate play room with many indoor games like chess, carrom and table tennis board. The behaviour of the hotel staff, be it the house keeping or the ones at the dining area were highly commendable and appreciable. They promptly responded to any issues we had and made it a point to make us feel comfortable as fast as possible. We really enjoyed our stay.

There should be more focus on cleanliness in rooms and bathrooms. Because it was peak summer season hence the room tariffs were high and I found to be expensive. .

Hotel's location is very good. 7 mins walkl down to the railway station. 15 mins walk to mall road and restaurants and markets. For sight seeing Peace Pagoda is close. The staff is very good and courteous especially Awanisha at reception. Food was also good. They make customise non spicy food for kids on request.

Hot water was an issue hence quite a disappointment coz we travelled in December so it’s a must needed.

The location it is very close to mall road… so u can walk it up.. The buffet was very good so many options and every dish was up to the mark…biryani, fish dishes, mutton as well as chaat..dinner buffets were just up to the mark.
