Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

There is no lift. We chose a room on the 1st floor to avoid the staircase's steps.
Good location, one can reach any side of Siliguri within a reasonable time. The owner of the property is very cooperative and guided us effectively.

Very close to river Fuleswari which is now a Canal/drain
Nice, clean place NJP TOTO RS200 SILIGURI BUS STOP RS100 ALSO HAVE DORMITORY, IDEAL FOR STUDENTS ,SOLO TRAVELLERS. Staff all good souls, helpful.

Everything was perfect
What I liked most was the behavior of our owner. He helped in every way. He also provided breakfast. Travelers Nest is the best hostel in Siliguri. Cheap, beautiful and sustainable

It is located 2kms away from the NJP railway station that makes it a reliable location for stay. Secondly, Sunny has been a great host. The stay is extremely clean and hygienic.

Although the listing mentioned room slippers would be provided, they were missing. The WiFi was also extremely slow, which could be frustrating if you need a stable internet connection.
Stayed overnight at Travellers Nest to catch an early morning train, and it worked well for that purpose. The location is convenient—just under 3 km from NJP Railway Station—and the neighborhood is peaceful and residential. The property itself is a 3BHK flat with rooms rented individually, which was fine for a short stay. Sunny, the host, was helpful and attentive throughout.

Sunny is very kind and helpful, he helped us to find a good ride to the guesthouse in the late night after our train was delayed. Also gave us many tips and welcomed us in our late arrival and made us feel like home. The room was clean and comfortable and everything that we asked we received with a smile

A bit more seating in the common area. A locker for valuables?
Location is not ideal, but makes up for it by being quieter etc. True homestay experience with use of kitchen etc. on individual responsibility. Great host with helpful tips on travel, food etc.

The property is new & well looked after. The room was spacious & very clean and the decorations were a really nice touch ☺️. The local area was nice too with plenty eating option. Sunny was super friendly and very helpful, even woke early to help us get a tuktuk to the station. Thank you!!

It's very near to NJP statation room are ok for a layover and to catch train from station ,host is very fine, helped us rent bike at very fine price.

Roadside traffic noise was coming to the room and also the property is located near the sewage drainage.
The host was very polite and helpful. He even helped us catch rikshaw to reach the SNT bus stand. The room was also nice and clean.

I don't ever see this type of cleanness in any hotel...the floor of the bathroom were shining..and also bedrooms....Bittu da is not only a good staff....,his kind behaviour touched our heart ❤️..and he served breakfast with bread -omelette and a cup of tea,which made by him..both were delicious ...
