I feel the national pathway to the hotel needs to be improved by the government.

The luxury of space, beautifully balanced decor -modern comforts with beautiful classic elements. And the warmth welcome of their teams. I enjoyed their beautifully fresh cooked meals, personalized to a client's taste.

The toilet flush in our bathroom didn’t work properly and would just keep refilling water - a little annoying. Note : there is no alcohol in the restaurant and if you bring your own your can’t drink in the restaurant

In a quiet location - near the airport and about 40 mins outside Varanasi ghats. The pool was chilly and not really deep enough to swim but nice to cool down in. And there are some sunbeds to lay on but no sun shades. The food was good but restaurant ( like most in India) lacked atmosphere Our room was very large and you could walk out straight into the garden, the bed very comfortable. The decor was good.

The room was cold. It felt very empty this was probably due to the time of year that we stayed. The pool looked beautiful and I am sure it would be amazing in hotter weather. The location of the hotel is far away from the Ghats. It’s probably an hours taxi ride away from the main part of Varanasi.

We arrived in the evening. As the taxi drove through the narrow lanes through the village I was not expecting to arrive at such a beautiful tranquil heritage hotel. From the moment the staff opened the taxi door and welcomed us I felt cocooned and looked after. We walked past an open sculpture gallery to a reception room where we were garlanded and given a reviving drink before the formalities. We were then led to our room, which was vast. The restaurant made us thalis even though this was not on their menu that night. The pool, courtyards and garden make this a lovely hotel. It’s an oasis.

A lovely hotel just outside Varanasi, the perfect place to come back to after experiencing the sacred city in all of its intensity. Beautiful rooms and common areas, great food, and amazing staff - really a peaceful and relaxing place, highly recommended!

We were hoping to have some cocktails during our stay but were surprised to learn the property was not licensed. ☹️It wasn’t mentioned on the website. We asked to f they could arrange some wine for us at any cost but did not hear back from anyone. The pool needs maintenance as the support bars leading into the pool were very loose. There was no spa that we could find but it didn’t really matter to us. The tractor next door was noisy but not the resorts fault clearly but it started early and drowned out the beautiful sounds from the flute player.

We came to the Tree of Life Resort and Spa to swim, read and relax after a hectic trip around Nepal and Bhutan. Previously we had two nights spent at the Brij Rama Palace on the Ganges amongst the throngs of people celebrating the cycle of life and death so it was time to unwind before heading home. Our room was huge and beautifully decorated with a lovely bathroom and large balcony overlooking the pool. The staff in the restaurant were extremely attentive and the food was delicious . It was wonderful to swim in the large pool in the very pretty grounds and listen to the birds and the sounds of village life.

There was an issue with an increase in humidity in the room during our stay which we informed the management about.

Beautiful hotel with amazing gardens and grounds. The room was is a very good size with great attention to detail on the decoration. The food was of good standard and the staff were very helpful.

Rough check in in the evening, when the toilets in both our rooms where not working and took too long and too many calls to fix. Towels were missing. This all should have been taken care of before we arrived. Cleaning in balconies and temple area where yoga happens should be greatly improved (wipe the floors). I would still recommend.

Beautiful property 10 minutes away from the airport. Away from the noise of the city. Easy and reasonably priced cab transfers to both the city and the airport. Ample rooms with beautiful decor. Attentive staff. They offer walks through the local village, which was lovely.

I had lunch dinner and breakfast at the resort. The food tastes functional but not exceptional. Breakfast buffet is very limited and does not suit a beautiful and luxury resort like this. Please get a good tea coffee machine at least.

the property is advertised as a spa and there is no spa yet. the property advertises a “ bar lounge” but there is no bar and no license. but the staff provided complementary cab so we could buy ourselves a pre dinner g n t from local wine shop to have on our beautiful balcony. so westerners looking for a bar be prepared! I still had a great stay

No hot water at all, first night, second night and last morning over there! Terrible, i asked the first morning, we went out to visit Varanasi and the way back at the end of the day, still not hot water, I couldn’t believe it! For the price and its luxurious look, not having hot water is really annoying! The toilet broken, as the water kept running! We had breakfast the first morning, for the price nearly nothing, probably they should try to see others places for the same price, it’s an entire buffet! Seriously that hotel is not worth the price! I am really not happy, never again!

There was no hot water in the bathroom No hand shower option as I was struggling to avoid getting my hair wet Hand shower should be mandatory along with hot water Even duvet should be more thicker and comfortable

food poisoning at the hotel’s restaurant. I took the penne with cream & cheese and get sick the following day. The appetizer paneer cheese was incredibly good and other food as well. Also just mention a noisy sound outside, that might just be temporary but still. It’s a shame for the food poisoning because the hotel was nice though

Local residents were constantly burning garbage in the empty plot just next to the property, so the smell and fumes were inescapable even within the rooms themselves. You could even smell it through the AC units when all windows and doors were otherwise closed. This made it unpleasant to remain outdoors.

It is a serene space tucked away into a local village community that affords a quiet and calm atmosphere. The rooms are ornate and beautifully designed. Staff were all extremely helpful and kind.
