After a hectic month in the West this place was exactly what I needed! I booked two nights but stayed for five. Lobsang and the guys will make you feel so welcome and help you with anything. Food is available all day and the portions are great! It's up in the hills outside the centre of town but it's so peaceful and quiet with the best views! I was sorry to leave.

I had an amazing stay at this hostel with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere, making it the perfect escape from the chaos of daily life. The property is great! Not only is it located at a perfect spot, away from the hustle bustle of the city yet also also close to it but the facilities and staff are amazing at what they do. The atmosphere of the hostel is very homely, the rooms are spacious and clean and Javed’s food is better than any of the food we had at all restaurants in Darjeeling. Do visit there if you want a quaint and peaceful stay and do not miss out on their food and coffees!

Should have mentioned about that part " you need to put on your shoes/ carry them" because there's 10-15 mins uphill trek to reach the hostel.

Loved the experience. Have been to Darjeeling quite number of times but this place gave me a completely new experience and perspective. The food here is too good. I would stay in and eat food from the hostel. They mini parties and celebration . Everything is so warm. Will recommend this stay to everyone. And will come back to this stay everytime I go Darjeeling!

A few areas that could be improved but not an issue if you know about them before going: - would be nice to have a proper shower with wall mount for head and screen to stop the floor getting wet rather than a bath tub with a loose shower on a hose. - hostel is in slightly remote area so be prepared to walk approx 1H into Darjeeling town. Most guests came with motor scooters which is perfect for the area and would solve this issue entirely. -would be good to have under bunk lockers to allow guests to lock things away with own lock; the place felt very safe so was not worried about theft but an amenity that is expected for most hostels.

Beautiful location in the nature set aside from any busy areas. Very friendly staff and nice vibe from other guests, evenings spent together watching movies and socialising. Food was excellent and good variety. The rooms were kept clean, beds comfortable.

Good experience in this hostel. Just one thing negative for this property is that it's far from the centre. You can rent two wheeler or taxi to reach there and explore the city. Rest all things in this property was excellent.

I had reached Darjelling pretty late but the host came to pick me up pretty late in the evening, which was so appreciated. As soon as you get there you get this feeling of getting laid back and easing up. They are such a nice bunch .They even have services availible for local commutes . I would highly reccomend everyone to ask the host for the local food and places(their recommendations),They will reccomend you places and restaurants that are gems.
