Noisy traffic outside at times. Especially my housekeeper chakrborty on 2nd floor and the concierge Mahafujiul he helped me get my Uber every day and was always so smiley and polite. So big thank you!

The very main road at the front of the hotel, reverts to one way traffic at different times of the day and evening. This can and in fact does cause issues with the likes of Uber. Our room safe didn't work from day 1,despite being reported within 2 minutes of arrival. Service in the restaurant Shiraz 56 was painfully slow. Polite, smiling, but painfully slow. On arrival, my room was smelling strongly of cigarette smoke, even though this is a No Smoking hotel. With the use of the AC, this improved, gradually.

The room, the shower, the efficient lifts, courteous door staff, the breakfast and the very efficient laundry service. Breakfast was essentially self service, but with some very helpful staff to assist with coffee, tea etc.

Quality of towels - pigeons on the window sill - very dangerous area, no proper sidewalks

Front desk team needs some training and attention.

the staff is always a great asset of this hotel. As I come every year, always nice to be remembered and taking care of by the team. Noticed that Front Desk staff was very inexperienced this time. Needs training and improve customer service skills.

The first room given was very small but subsequently was realloacated a room on the 5th floor with twin beds. Decent sized, large bathroom with toiletries. Breakfast spread good

The bathroom fittings looked worn out, and might need a deep clean. We were given a room with some stained bedsheets, but this was replaced as soon as we told them to. My expectations were high as I had visited the hotel 5 years ago when it was brand new, hence was a tad disappointed to fit some worn out aspects of the hotel.

The location was ideal and close to park street, 15 mins walk. The junction is popular and hence know by taxi drivers. There is also a nearby bus stop. The staff were extremely helpful and helped us with last minute changes and requests. Special thanks to the Manager, who sorted an issue with the payment in the end. The breakfast was good, and had a good mix of hot and cold food with drinks. The security personnel were helpful in booking local taxis.

Outsiders are not allowed ,they should specify this somewhere . I had friends family sitting in the lobby cause they couldn't come in to my room. If I had known earlier I would have never booked it

Some rooms can be noisy. Internet not consistent. Which could be an issue if you are working.

Location on Park Street. Security. Good restaurant in the building, convenient for evenings. Excellent breakfast lots of choice. Cleanliness. I would really recommend.

The rooms all had dampness and the strong smell of dampness - no matter which room they offered. I refused to stay and was not awarded even a partial refund. I refused to stay in those conditions.

Rooms have not been maintained. I have stayed here multiple times since 2012 because the location is convenient for my purpose. It was nice when it was new and called Tulip Inn. Since then it has changed hands multiple times and rooms and facilities have not been kept up. The breakfast buffet ran out of most items by the time we got there 30 mins before closing and on all 4 days. Finally the woman at the front desk who checked us in and out is not welcoming. She just enforces policy and lacks customer service. Not just with us but all guests. She told us there will be extra charges for our 12 yr old son. I agreed even though I clearly made the booking for 2 adults and 1 child through booking.com. Next time I will stay somewhere else.

Housekeeping and other staff is friendly and helpful. Our room was immediately available upon arrival.
