Great experience staying at Ulala hostel. Hosts Atchaya, Agalya were so welcoming. Had great time with other solo traveller's playing board games, painting, conversations.. The terrace has a good view of Arunachalam hill, location is calm.This place is near to Ramanashramam.Rapido bike service is easly available to every where within the town. I would greatly recommend people to experience vibe at this place

Clean rooms, calm vibe, and just a short walk to Ramana Ashram and the main temple. The hosts Atchaya, Agalya, and Aarthi are super friendly and made me feel right at home. Perfect stay for solo travelers and spiritual seekers. Highly recommended!

I stayed at ulala hostels for a week and hosts were kind to welcome and plan for other activities like sunset hiking, board games,cricket,badmitton and diy’s. This place felt like a home where we both cooked together and had food .Must visit hostel in tiru if you miss your home and more travel stories in pack😉. They have a good workation setup in lounge and terrace area. You might enjoy your Early morning yoga infront of tiruvanamalai hill.🧘🏾‍♀️

I loved everything!

I stayed for more than a week here. Ulala is truly a home for me. I cannot think of a stay at Thiruvanamalai other than Ulala. The hosts are really kind and caring. The location of the hostel is very peaceful, perfect for long term workation as they have good speed wifi too!!Enjoyed the hostel vibe as the hosts keeps the guests engaged with activities like hiking, board games, movie nights.. Will definitely visit again especially for the hospitality of the hosts

Very Kind hosts - felt like home. You can cook yourself if needed, take the terrace with a mountain view and lively environment. Must stay if Tiru calls you. Easy laundry setup, room cleanings and hospitality.

This hostel was an absolute gem! From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home. The rooms are incredibly comfortable, and everything is neat and tidy, including the really nice washrooms. Having access to a well-equipped kitchen to cook was a huge plus. Beyond the great rooms, the hostel offers so much more. There's a fantastic selection of board games and a lovely book collection for unwinding. If you're feeling active, you can play badminton, and there's even a dedicated space for yoga, which was a huge bonus. What truly made my stay exceptional were the hosts – they are incredibly cool and helpful. They went above and beyond, providing me with all the information I needed about nearby places to visit. The highlight of my trip was definitely the awesome trek I went on with my fellow roommates and one of the hosts. It was an unforgettable experience and a fantastic way to explore the area. I can't recommend this hostel enough! It's the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, fantastic company, and plenty of activities to enjoy.

The day when I reached there, the weather is very hot. However, AC facility is inadequate as per my feeling as the same is switched on for few minutes and will be shut off for more time. Again we have to request for switching on the AC, which is felt to be ridiculous.

The place is very decent and quiet. However there are no enough facilities nearby viz., transport, food etc.,. The same if improved would be highly recommended for stay.

Nothing to mention. It's becoming great every other day. Lockers are already installed, painting and interiors are being done, and looking forward to the library. Hope this stay same and becomes better with my next visit and that would be my earnest request.

First ever stay in a hostel, and the stay is memorable and great experience. It's not just the clean, sanitized and cool cozy beds, the care, camaraderie and concern from the owner Atchaya that makes this whole stay a memorable experience. Though not in the service, got a yummy wheat dosa and coconut chutney from Atchaya for breakfast :-) I reached at 03 AM and was promptly assisted with a friendly pickup and guided through out. I really appreciate the warmth and hospitality that was shown. It's not just about the place where we stay, it's the people who create the experience. I really felt that after a long time, I felt that it's another home away from home. Facilities for the guests are well thought; Individual lockers to safe keep your belongings. board games and books are available( I heard library is being setup with books ordered). This facility has tremendous potential to be used a personal space to facilitate workshops, group classes etc.. Would highly recommend this hostel while you visit Tiruvannamalao, especially for the ones who is visiting Ramana Ashram or Yogi Ramsurat Kumar Ashram, they are just within a km distance. I'll keep returning to Ulala, for the warmth and homeliness, Ulala hostel a home away from home.!

Genuinely one of the best, friendliest hostels I've stayed in! Owner was so kind, taking time to show me round the town and where to eat. Very grateful for all the help and the friendship! Would absolutely recommend! I'm already planning my return trip:)
