Some staff members were rude but personally I don't give importance to such people and never ruin my experience.Girls who were living in dorm for long term had made the dorm look like a railway station however I choose not to raise a concern on that because it's not the responsibility of management that how do you live in a dorm.Overall it is very safe place to be as solo female traveller.

I loved the location of the property and the way it is done up, Interiors are good.Food is also good.Owner is very humble.Hostel has different common areas where you chill,work,do yoga and Meditation.Overall Vibe of the place is good.

It is at a decent walking distance from main bazaar but taxis are available if needed.

There were some constructions work going on and sometimes it became very loud and bothering especially in the evening. The dorm was a bit too small for 6 people, not much space for rucksacks and luggage.

Great place in a quiet area and close to restaurants in Dharamkot. The bathroom in the room in the dorms is a plus and it was quite clean. There’s a nice working area with good WiFi. Water dispensers too!

My stay at Utopia (8 bed dorm with balcony) was very comfortable and pleasant. This property has very good value for money, it's on the upper side of Dharamkot and surrounded by nature along with some new developments. Since I arrived I was welcomed and treated like family, the dorm balcony overlooks the woods and the hostel also includes a chill out / co-working large sunny area that you can truly enjoy. Huge thanks to Assan and his team that kindly took very good care of me. See you next time!

The common washrooms could be a bit better. There were a few crane flies in the room which was kind of annoying. No direct connectivity to a main road, so one must climb an inclined pathway to reach the hostel

There was a loud group of people staying at same time and the property didn’t have good control of them, even as they were breaking most of the posted rules (noisy, not respecting quiet hours, partying all night)

If you want to travel around dharamshala and Mcleodganj, then it feels to be very far. Travelling cost adds up in this case. But if you are renting a vehicle then you don’t need to worry. What I didn’t like was that I had to travel back at nights to this far location.

It is located at the top of the hills and provides very suitable conditions if you want to wfh. Provides scenic views.

One of the best hostels I have stayed in. It was clean, dorm room and washrooms were good and clean. I loved the hostel because it has a spot for everything - You want to work, chill, socialise, be alone. Food was good too. If you are in Dharamkot then Utopia hostel would be a good choice.

Love it ! Stayed here for over a week after only booking one day , female dorm is fantastic and I'd highly recommend 😊 foods amazing too I had so many orders of kadhi panneer and rotti also the pancakes are nice the common area is also really beautiful so much light
