Very quiet area but only 5 minutes walk to the beach. Room spotlessly clean. I would stay again.

Shower wasn’t the most powerful but adequate.

A great place to stay for a few days in Varkala. South beach location is quite but easy to get to the North cliff by walking (20-25mins) or tuk tuk. The accomodation was clean, the staff friendly and amenities what you need for a short stay. Ac was extra which I knew and was happy to pay - it worked well.

It's was pretty pleasant stay for us in our trip. great home stay for families highly recommend. The staffs were soo friendly and helpful....they served delicious breakfast and particularly tea was soo delicious.

Immaculately clean, exactly as advertised. We stayed for 4 nights and would have stayed longer. The hosts are lovely and friendly. Sheba made delicious chai every morning. The accommodation is in a great location near the south end of Varkala beach, an easy walk to the beach, restaurants and shops, while being in a relaxing and quiet location. Tommy the dog is also a highlight.

Super close to the cliff, about a 2 min walk from Soul & Surf - where there’s yoga, surf and food. Comfy rooms, we had a side entrance room with AC that was cool during the heat of the day.

Neat and clean rooms and premise. Only 10 mins walk to happening cliff. You can have food from Nearby soul and surf cafe (ambience 💯). Owner is nice and polite. Good place for family and friends to hang out. There is super friendly Tommy 🐶 to welcome you.

One of the three mosquito nets at the window was a bit broken, but you can just leave that window closed and if you still feel uncomfortable, use the mosquito net above the bed. I didnt have any problems with mosquitos though.

Simple but clean budget option for anyone looking for a quiet relaxing time in Varkala, whilst still being close to everything. The guesthouse is in a quiet backstreet right behind „Soul & Surf“/South Cliff Taxi Stand. The beach is 5 mins away, if you want to swim, north cliff with many restaurants just north of the beach, and temple junction is also close by if youre looking for supermarkets or more authentic Indian restaurants. South Cliff beach also is less busy for anyone trying to get away from the crows more and also has its own sea-view clifftop restaurants and cafes (Sarwaa, Soul & Surf etc). There are also a handful of Yoga schools in the streets surrounding the Guesthouse. The owners are very friendly and helpful. You can do laundry & have breakfast as well (Indian or Western, both very delicious). On top of that youll be blessed with a very friendly, quiet, and peaceful dog called Tommy :) Can only recommend!

Friendly staff, clean comfortable room, nice quiet location a little away from the busy part of the main beach. You can get access to a more private part of the beach directly via the stairs of restaurant across the street.

Binu was very much friendly, accepted and organized our requests and made our stay more comfortable. We requested for breakfast and lunch during our stay and they provided us delicious meals. We took our 9 month old infant with us and it never felt like we were staying in a different place, it just felt like home. Sea shore restaurant is just a minute walk from here, where we enjoyed a relaxing 180° beach view and experienced the soothing sound of waves away from all the public. The place is also very close to the South cliff beach. But, you must have a strong legs if you plan to have a walk to the beach. Overall, the place was beyond our expectations and we thank them for making our stay peaceful. Definitely will recommend other to visit here.
