The room was very old and small, very noisy on main streat and the sink was leaking everywhere.. we change accomodation on the second day for a way better room for cheaper but we had to pay for the 2 days... Kind of hampi policy but they could have made a gesture. We didn't really see the owner.

The shower didn't work well and there was no mosquito net on the bathroom window. There's no longer any tables & chairs as shown in some of the photos.

Krishna, our host and his family were very friendly and helpful. He booked our 5am pick up from Hospet at a decent price, came and met us on arrival in Hampi and kept our bags until we were able to check in, and also after we checked out. Room was clean and the bed comfortable. Hot water was available as needed. Location in Hampi bazaar is excellent and recommendation to eat in the Chillout cafe next to the banana plantation was appreciated. Appreciated the communal terrace to sit and relax but it would have been more comfortable with chairs to sit on.

Owner Krishna came to pick me up at a ferry point by his motor bike was very kind. The location is perfect within Hampi bazaar.

Ants came when there was opend food but the hotel manager helped clean and put ant repellent and they didn't come back

The rooms here are small and basic, but the host does all he can to make them comfortable. The price is a bit too much for what you get, but the location is perfect and Hampi local businesses are struggling!

An exceptional host. We were made to feel very welcome. Our room was ready when we arrived very early from an overnight train which was fantastic and our host was always making sure everything was ok. The location in Hampi Bazaar is great, right in the middle of everything. There is a communal balcony which is a great place to sit and watch everything in the evening.

There is no cafe or restaurant. I did not ask if they provide tea or coffee on request. But that’s not a big problem. You can go to the adjacent cafe for quick need.

Location is just more than plus point. The Host Krishna is polite, helpful. The property is middle of the hampi market and with reasonable price. If you want to stay nearby Virupaksha Temple, I would recommend this guest house. All guest houses in this area is more or less similar. You have to park your car 100 mtrs away in an open common parking area, it’s safe and only takes rs. 10. Other properties are double the cost. If you want to enjoy hippi atmosphere and enjoy all places nearby then this area and property is worth the cost. You will only a decent room with attach bath room. Based your need AC can be provided and cost may vary. Caution! If you’re not a true traveler, adventurer or back packer then stay away from these place and property.

Near main temples and attractions, good value for money and Krishna helps with all travel arrangements and itineraries.. They allowed me to store my stuff and even use spare bathroom to shower after my checkout.

The Host krishna needs to be appreciated for his very enthusiastic, caring and friendly approach. His promptness with planning our trip, coordination with auto , suggestions , all helped us make our stay and trip very memorable. The location is Hampi bazar, hence saved lot of our time and had good time to explore. The stay is very close to विरूपाक्ष temple. Hence got sufficient time to sit back late till night in temple and see all the rituals...poornima. Overall. Very happy we chose Vicky's Home stay. The Auto driver cum guide..Mr. Narshimha was also very good. He took us to places with info and clicked our few good photos too. Would like to recommend to family and friends.

I was very comfortable to be staying at this guest house. The location is amazing. I love spending time with the locals and being surrounded by them was fun. The locals are nice and good to talk to. The cafes and restaurants are budget-friendly. All the places were near and about. Krishna the host is a humble guy. Good with conversation and making sure his guests are at ease. Overall a happy stay. I was travelling alone and did not face a single issue.

Right in the centre of Hampi and close by to a lot of walking distance monuments. The tenant is helpful and can arrange drop in and drop off by cab.

If you are sensitive to noises consider staying across the river as it get quite noisy in the morning and life is vibrant until late hours.

We really liked our stay here. Our room was big enough with a fan and private bathroom. The manager was super helpful and welcoming. It is really close to the shops, restaurants and ruins.

Its good location to explore the hampi..the building near by viruska temple and the best part is roof view is so amazing for sunset and sunrise..and the staff is too good.

Cleanliness and privacy issues.

The overall experience of stay was good and the nature of the host was very friendly except few things which I like to mention that drinking water was not adequately available ,privacy was bit compromised as the window on the stairs make you feel unsecured,thirdly the bathrooms were not clean and soap was not available.Rest everything was fine which makes you stay comfortable and it is value for money

The non AC room was a bit hot even with the fan on, sometimes the temperature was better outside the room than inside.

The location is really nice, in the center of hampi, very close to the main temple, lots of cafes and shops nearby but not noisy. The room was clean and the bathroom too.

-single power socket in the double room, far from the bed -check out at 9 AM -unstable wifi and bad GSM signal -so described hot water is not hot at all -the rooms have some opes so all the noises from other rooms are noticeable

-stay in the center of the village, very close to the attractions -opened rooftop -good price -It is rather clean, including the bathroom
