It's about a 40-minute walk uphill to the main town. You can take shared taxis, but I got heavily overcharged when taking one and they don't speak English - I'd be wary of using them if you're not Indian as there's a fair chance they'll try to take advantage of you. The Wifi also didn't work in the room I was in (401). Cell signal is temperamental in this area too.

The host is one of the friendliest I've met running a hostel in India. He was super helpful with suggesting ways into the town and supported with scooter rental at a good deal. On my first evening, he sat and had a few drinks with me and another guest to offer advice on things to see. An all-round fantastic, genuine, friendly bloke - makes the hostel 100% worth staying a bit out the city for. Rooms were clean and lots of private storage available. Bathroom was good, with hot shower available.

Occasionally, they may charge more than expected for packages etc. so please negotiate the price. However, the staff are generally very helpful. To reach your accommodation, you will need to climb a short flight of stairs, which may not be suitable for everyone.

We stayed in a roomy, comfy family room for two nights. It's a short walk from MG Marg, the staff were great, and they've got good facilities. Plus, they have adorable pets – especially the cat! And the rooftop and common areas are awesome hangouts.

The overall property maintenance and rooms could have been better.

The hosts were really helpful and involved. The location is really great as very close to MG Market and on the main road so easier to get transportations.

The staff were so welcoming and helpful. They helped me book my buses, and checked on me even when I got stuck because of landslides. Breakfast was worth it too. Probably the cleanest sheets you'll come across while travelling in India haha.

This place is between the taxi stand and mg road. So it's easy to reach here. The common rooms and dorms are perfectly well maintained.

The steep steps leading to the accommodation could be kept a little lean from leaves and moss to avoid slippage.

The accommodation price was very reasonable and comfortable. View is good as the accommodation is on a good height. Zameer Shaikh was a great host to interact.

The property is nearby the center with excellent amenities. The staff is extremely helpful, and we really appreciated the hospitality. The food is freshly prepared upon ordering and is also delicious.Strongly recommend this place and we will visit again.

The property manager Zubo ji was very helpful and friendly. He helped me plan the trip and recommended spots to explore. The room was spacious and clean. The location is quite convenient as well. Would definitely recommend.

The property is located at lil height so we had to go there by climbing some stairs ,for us it was okay but for my mother it was lil problematic, but there staff was so nice they came all the way down and carried our luggage to the hotel room.

Our stay was amazing ,staff behaviour and rooms are amazing.
