Toilets were smelly and less maintained. Beds did not have a dedicated shelfs to put your small belongings only lockers were present in the dorm.

Honestly, this place has a good vibe to chill, especially on weekends. I found the co-guests quite friendly and accommodating. The staff was accurate to our needs and the food also good.

There is music EVERY night and it is LOUD!!!!! Sometimes it’s very unappealing. There is a guy who lurks around talking to girls and apparently stays long term nearby. Not cool.

I liked that there was a cozy communal area and restaurant attached. It’s nice that you’re outside of the hustle bustle, about 5-10 minutes walk to the lake.

The switch of the geyser is at a height so someone with a short height could have problems reaching. The blankets weren't clean enough so that can be something the hotel can work on

I liked that the location was pretty accessible to Brahma Temple....it is close to 2.5 kms......so you can also go walking. Bikes and scooty are also easily available in the market area if someone wants to explore. You can also visit the markets and ghats from here by walking. We stayed in room no 106 which was pretty decent. Overall it was a good budget hotel for staying !!

The beds could do with curtains in the dorms. It is a little further out from the main area of town so in the dark you would need a tuktuk as the road can be quite secluded

Cleanliness could be improved in all areas of the hostel. Bedroom and bathrooms need a deep clean regularly, and staff need to be more aware of rubbish / glassware etc that guests leave around the hostel (also guests need to behave better!). The morning we left we saw piles of plates still on tables outside on the pool cafe tables from the night before.

I enjoyed my stay in Pushkar with Zostel! We had very basic but comfortable rooms that reflect the price paid. The communal areas are great, with pool table and games to get involved in. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly.

A point of improvement would be to clean the bathrooms more frequently. They haven’t been cleaned once during our 4 night stay. Sometimes the music at the pool area was extremely loud

Beautiful hostel, really great common area. Very social atmosphere, as a bit of a party vibe to it. There was airconditioning 24/7 which was amazing with temperatures up to 45 degrees. They had a cafe with nice food available for good prices. The hostel also has a pool which is nice, but as women we didn’t use it (since most other guest were Indian male friend groups and we didn’t feel like walking around in swimwear in this setting, because of off season not many foreigners). Walking distance from the city centre is around 15 minutes.
