There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

The house was beautifully furnished and decorated. We had plenty of room for all of us and the host even came over to welcome us and answer questions. Also - there were horses in a pasture just next door, which was a real bonus for us animal lovers.

The studio apartment has everything one could need, including a comfortable sofa if you want to relax a bit. The kitchen was well stocked and everything was very clean and well maintained. Elin was a great host and always answered very quickly. She even had a little booklet with lots of useful information about the area and some lesser known sights. I would definitely recommend to stay here for a few days if you want to explore the southeast as the studio is close to a lot of sights.

This place absolutely exceeded my expectations. It's the most thoughtfully and carefully designed place I've stayed in during my many travels. The mattresses are the best I've slept on. The attention to detail and design is impeccable, so many useful kitchen tools, plus little gems of wonder, like the awesome coffee machine, cute world map or the super extensive guide book. Thank you so much, i hope to return later this year while visiting Vestrahorn.

We had an amazing apartment style room to ourselves. The beds were very comfortable and it was very easy to park. The kitchen had everything we might need. We appreciated that the freezer came with ice in it. Everything was very clean and we had a pleasant and relaxing stay.

It is a wonderful house, very cozy, with large rooms and a great location. We also appreciated the coffee machine and the spacious kitchen for preparing our own meals. We had a fantastic time and saw the Northern Lights for the first time ever just outside the Door. We would stay here again anytime.

I really like Haukaberg House. You can find there anything that you need and feel like at home. Location is perfect and really close to the house you have amazing dark spot where you can see aurora. Our host was very amazing and whenever we will be nearby, I will choose that House for my stay.

It was all we could imagine. The house was exceptionally clean and well-furnished, the kitchen had everything we needed and more, the bathroom was spotless and the room was very comfortable. The hosts left a book with useful info about the area and the history of their home and family.

The property was so amazing. Just loved it and hope to stay again here. We were able to see the northern lights from minutes away from here. It is also so clean and very well organised. The interiors were very nice.

Didn't know that the hosts went into the house while we were out to help clear our rubbish in the kitchen. Would've been greatly appreciated if they notified us about that beforehand.

Such a cozy house, cooked a few meals there and enjoyed our meals together with late night talks around the dining table during our stay there. Was very comfortable for the 8 of us, ladies who stayed there. Hosts were very helpful and checked-in on us through messages. Some of my friends experienced our first snow at this house during the day we checked-out so it was an beautiful memory to keep.

Very close proximity to other guest rooms, a note on front door explained how to get into room. Free coffee/tea offered. Breakfast would be nice touch for cost.

Comfortable, clean, modern and great location near Hofn. We had the room with bathroom so did not share which was a good for us. Full Kitchen facilities were great and open for all guests. Big refrigerator to keep cooler items fresh.

You have to keep in mind that you are sharing the home, but it still feels very private.
