Hot tap water smelt awful (sulphur) and although this is normal it didn't make for a pleasant shower first thing.

The location was perfect. In the heart of city close to all the great restaurants, fun streets with shops. So easy to walk everywhere and explore the city. And still so quiet and peaceful at night. The apartment is very clean, warm and comfortable, with excellent beds. Easy to cook in the kitchen and it has so many spices and things available. Best was how responsive the owner was when we had any questions. We thoroughly enjoyed this apartment and highly recommend it. We wish we could have stayed longer!

The people upstair were noise all the time so we didn't sleep well.

The hosts are kind and attentative. The location couldn't be better.

There was little if anything that we didn't like. If we wanted to be picky, the apartment is a little overlooked. Also, we had selected 'parking' in the filter, but had to rely on finding a place in the local, paid parking. That said, neither of these affected our stay, which was very enjoyable.

The apartment was in a great location, only minutes away from the city centre. Restaurants, shops and bars all within a very short walk. Well appointed and cosy.

The internet connection has not been stable. This is the only thing that needs improvement.

The house is so warm and beautifully decorated. It is located in a very central spot. We had a really good time choosing this place.

One bedroom was very small, we had to keep our suitcase in the kitchen area so we could move around the bed. Trying to connect with the host to pay for our stay was awkward because email through bookings.com was slow and there was no way to call without a local phone. It would have been nice if the host had Whatsapp or something similar.

Apartment is in a great location, very easy to walk to many restaurants and tourist sites. Location was quiet but not far from main part of downtown Reykjavik. Apartment had a nice open kitchen/dining area and a comfortable living area. It was clean and well cared for.

Cosy, spacious home away from home. Clean and tidy with everything you need. Location is great. Just steps from the main street and all attractions. Everything within short walking distance. Only one parking spot but found street parking close by. No washer/dryer. if you pack light and want clean clothes you'll have to go into town. We used Laundromat Cafe.

Family of 5 (adults) on our first trip to Iceland. Great location, nice quiet street, easy walking to shops and restaurants. The host was very accessible. Was a comfortable and clean apartment. The kitchen was well equipped if you wanted to make meals there. We had enough room for our luggage and plenty of places to hang clothes and store shoes.

This is a lovely, quiet, and beautifully located property that's exactly as it's advertised. The owner kindly let me check in early after a transatlantic flight, and -- this was exceptional service -- left my glasses for me at the Icelandair Service desk after I left them behind accidentally! My friend and I really felt at home in Aska Apartments and used them as a base for short, happy visit. Bonus: they're very close to the church which is visible from nearly everywhere in Reykjavik so you can never get lost! Also, very conveniently located for the central bus station which is a hub for many excursions.

Location: definitely the best, just in walk to the most famous church Hallgrímskirkja. which means city center and a bus stop for all the tours and shuttle buses you need! Room: with kitchen and everything we need, it would be nice to have washing machine tho, but it’s very comfortable and warm and lovely, with many information provided by the host we feel the most welcomed, very recommended.

This is a house converted into 2 flats with little sound insulation. It was easy to hear the people downstairs when they got up at 6am every day.... not that they were being noisy, I'm sure they could hear us too.

Cosy apartment in a great location. Really central but on a quiet street . The apartment was warm and well ventilated, the heating was easy to control. The beds are comfortable and there was plenty of space for the 4 of us to live comfotably.
