Location and view. Very welcoming

This apartment was perfect! Great location, newly renovated, very clean and comfortable. I could see myself living there. Having a washer/dryer to use was convenient since we had been traveling for some time. Walking distance to a cute coffee shop and located directly on the water....we even saw a seal swimming. Would 100% stay here again on a future trip. The host was super friendly and accommodating. Thank you

Perfect location!

Very well located, convenient to the region. Very nice host. Nice welcome with fruit and chocolate bar.

The beds are smallish and the ceilings/doorways are low. There was no effective way to darken the room, an issue in the summer light.

It was an excellent base for exploring the area and was well equipped. The place was very clean and had lots of nice personal touches.

Clear self check-in instructions. We appreciate having the information to identify the exterior (yellow) of the apartment. Our hosts surprised us with a nice welcoming card, apples and icelandic chocolate the minute we stepped into the living area. She also made effort to greet us in person which was really nice. All the information needed to visit the area are well organized in a folder. The apt is not big but creatively furnished and practical. I like the interior design esp the leather handle and beautiful woodem sliding toilet door. The beddings and linen are soft and comfortable. Very good quality. We also appreciate the quality of the body shampoo, hair shampoo and conditioner. Fully equipped kitchen though we didn't cook. There's a shared laundry room. We appreciate having a separate space to dry our laundry. Everything is very well thought off to ensure guests' comfort. I was a bit disappointed when I got the message that entrance to our flat is at the back of the house. But that back entrance was way better. We had a great open view of the sea and saw northern lights for the first time on Aug 26!

The apartment was clean, comfortable and very cosy. It felt like a home away from home.

Although breakfast not included, some treats were left and some cooking supplies to make cooking, which I did, so nice. Everything was well stocked with attention given for every need. A seal was out in the water which I could see from the apartment. She was nice to give us sightseeing advice. She went above and beyond during our stay.

Very comfortable and modern apartment. There is a double bed in bedroom, but we also used the foldout couch in lounge room - one of the best double bed foldouts I have ever seen, so easy to put in & out. The owner who lives upstairs, allowed us to use her washing machine & dryer, which was much needed. We had fresh fruit and some chocolate waiting for us. Very pleasant stay, thank you very much.

The weather was cold & windy - we didn't get to enjoy sitting outside to look at the waterway. Definitely not the owners fault.

The room is spacious , got everything I need. Equipped kitchen and living is so comfortable. The host is so kind and help us everything. World definitely recommended and return for sure.

Loved staying in Grundafjord. The host was lovely and the apartment very comfortable and had everything we needed. It felt more spacious than in photos. We loved how it looked over the harbour and was an easy walk to restaurants and grocery stores.
