Location in Cairo is great. There are several good restaurants available at the hotel. We chose Red China (Asian food) and liked it so much we went back 3 nights in a row and upon our departure from Egypt went back a fourth time. The service is excellent, as is the food.

For the rate they are charging room was very small and not well designed. Simple things like to turn on the lights is challenging. The switch functionality keeps changing so you do not know which light will turn on next. The door to bathroom is made of glass, has no locks and keeps swaying. If you are are travelling with a partner it is quite embarrassing. More over the bathroom has no heat and it can get quite chilly at night, even in summer. Either the front desk or room service never pick up the phone , it goes to voicemail and you get voicemail full.

Excellent location, away from the crowds and traffic , and yet so close to city center . All major attractions , shopping, restaurants , cafes, bars are within walking distance. Tour bus stop no 13 is right outside the hotel making it very convenient to go on day tours. The property is very clean and well maintained.

Clean and modern, easy to park, location at the end of the Main Street so about 10-15mins walk to main action but good for us. A great food hall just outside in the main square too

With road closures close to the property, made it difficult to access. The spa is located externally and immediately below a majority of rooms and the noise from users was annoying until it closed at 10pm - bad luck if you want an early night for an early flight.

The lobby was very crowded with lots of tourists coming in and out at 2 pm. There was lots of construction around which made it hard to navigate around the hotel.

The spa was a little disappointing - just a sauna and two hot tubs of the same temperature, one inside and one outside. No cold plunge or other way of cooling off except taking a shower. Unless you're booking a massage or other treatment, it would be much better value to go to one of the local municipal swimming pools (Sundhöllin is very close to the hotel) as they have hot tubs of different temperatures, a steam room, and a cold plunge as well as a normal swimming pool.

The hotel is conveniently located close to downtown, with a lot of shops, food options and attractions within a 10-15 minutes walk. The rooms were clean, well-equipped and comfortable, and the staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful.

Parking was tough although they do have some free spots if you arrive late you must find and pay for parking.

The daily breakfast was ok. Nothing exceptional, but I have endured a lot worse. The downtown location at the very beginning of the "main drag" was fantastic. The room was adequate and very clean. It was somewhat small based on U.S. standards but very typical based on European standards.

Staff was kind and professional when my wife got sick and we had to extend our stay. Definitely above and beyond. Otherwise the location was perfect for us and the spa facilities were amazing. Highly recommended!

Larger room

Early check in at no cost. Easy parking in the back. Comfortable, small room, No half and half for coffee but warm milk did the trick! Nothing fancy but adequate for a night.

They only have a few free parking spots, which were full when we arrived at 2:30 pm. The desk staff gave us a map where there was more free parking two blocks away.

Front desk staff were great -- very nice, super helpful. The room was a decent size. Beds were a bit hard, but pillows were great. There were numerous restaurants nearby as well as a nice sized grocery store. The included breakfast buffet at the restaurant was very good.
