Breakfast was same every day. On last day when we left early. Even though we paid for breakfast only offered croissants and tea, coffee and juice outside of 7am. When I asked for some fruit I was declined.

I made my reservation 8 months before my stay, which was plenty of time to plan and accommodate me. I requested a lower floor and was told they had made a note of my request, which led me to assume they would honor it. They did not. The hotel was fully booked the day we arrived, and they were unable/unwilling to make a change. Also, the two men at the front desk the morning we arrived to drop our luggage were morons and not pleasant. Thankfully, when we returned later in the day to check in, the woman at the desk was much more professional and personable, and helped change the bad impression that the morning front desk staff had left me with.

The location could not have been better. It was in the center of everything and near many bus stops. The room was very clean, and it had a nice breakfast.

The location of this hotel was fantastic, walk outside and take right or left turn, you are right in the center of it all. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. But the main part was the staff especially Bora the front desk girl that greeted us. She was extremely welcoming, fun to speak with, we bonded over me having same name as her sister, helpful with suggestions of where to explore, each time we walked back into the lobby she had a big hello and a smile and did not mind the many many questions we had being in Reykjavik for the 1st time. I would stay there again anytime just for that fact.

Great location, comfortable room (if somewhat small). Had some issues with room cleaning (we requested daily cleaning in at check-in but it didn't happen the first day) and the room phone (unusable). Good breakfast and friendly staff.

Loud at night due to bar right next door or just being on main street. Sleep with window closed and adjust temp in room is my recommendation.

Our recent 8 night stay was significantly affected by two main issues. Firstly, the proximity of a discotheque led to excessive and unbearable noise, which continued until 4am daily, making it impossible to sleep peacefully for six of our eight nights. Although we expected some degree of city noise, the intensity and duration of this disturbance far exceeded reasonable expectations. Secondly, despite a request made six months in advance for a room in a quieter part of the hotel, we were not granted it. but we were provided with earplugs, which of course did not help. It was funny. We were also surprised to be charged for rooms for a night that we did not occupy, even after we had informed the hotel four months in advance (in February) that we would be arriving a day later due to a change in flight schedule.

The hotel is located in the center, so there is excellent accessibility everywhere. Nice hotel, junior suite room is big enough and nice. Our second room, standard was nice too.

Great location close to everything - we also loved the room - we were on the ground floor with a courtyard so great for fresh air and access. They gave a nice lounge area in the foyer just to chill with a drink. Staff were super friendly and helpful.
