Nothing to complain!

Great room in a beautiful location. The host was very friendly and helpful, our favourite of the whole two week trip! The value for money was unbeatable considering that the price included a small, nice breakfast. We'll definitely book a room here again, if we ever visit this part of Iceland again!

If you want to cook, you have to go to the camping area. The stove isn’t very powerful.

The host personally welcomed us. The bathroom was very bright and modern, and the breakfast was plentiful.

The owner was very helpful upon our arrival. While we don’t typically eat breakfast, there were plenty of options available. I appreciated having access to a microwave, a small fridge, and ample tea, coffee, and milk, along with a fancy coffee machine for lattes. The clean dining area felt relaxing for warming up our dinner and having tea. I loved that we could leave our dirty dishes for them to clean—it made our stay even more enjoyable. The room had a sink (if I remember correctly). The owners were very happy to help us plan to maximize our time for the next day. I will perhaps stay here again as I have yet to explore that area (we had only one night).

The microwave, kettle and toaster area is small and congested. No sink so you have to take the kettle to the shower room to fill it. The 2km dirt track has lots of potholes so is a bumpy ride.

CJA guesthouse is a nice little cottage with a home like feeling. The hospitality I was shown made me feel right at home. The best nights sleep I got on my entire trip!

The gravel road to get to property was a little rough but not bad.

It was nice quiet setting with a large common room to enjoy the view. They were adding a glass viewing room and front entrance which will be great. The bathroom was very nice with 2 separate toilets and a shower to share with 4 rooms. It was nice to have a sink in the room.

There is only one shower room.

This was not a huge deal, but only one shower. In the WC/shower, 3 "rooms" - 2 WC and one shower. Sinks in the area connecting all 3. The door to this area doesn't close and is right next to the dining area. While the door to the shower closes, it doesn't feel very private. No hangers in the shower.

Great place, very clean, owners are amazing. It's a nice spot to rest and they mean that when they say they will meet you upon your arrival. Nice kitchen, though no sink. Has tea/coffee machine, fridge, microwave. A comfy dining area with boardgames and books. Very cozy. It's a very nice place to rest after exploring Iceland.
