Apartment just needs a little tlc, better bins for rubbish & recycle, shower could be more powerful - nothing that would cost a great deal.

Excellent location - on the strip. Good size rooms & beds. Very warm & cozy. Property was just a little tired & would welcome a refurb however for a big family it was ideal & affordable compared to hotel prices - shop across the road so you can stock up on food & keep costs down. Great hairdryer & comfy beds. With trips booked it was great for what we needed.

We would have liked to have more pillows and towels, but honestly, we made it work and it was fine. The biggest issue is that the downstairs neighbors are LOUD and make noise at all hours. There were doors being slammed, yelling, and kids screaming. Loud music was played late at night as we tried to sleep, and we are typically up late, but it was later than that.

This property’s location is incredible! It was close to everything and we had no trouble finding parking. The host was incredibly responsive and even checked in to see if we needed more coffee! It was clean and had plenty of room for our family of 5. Check in and check out were seamless and the host sent pictures of exactly where to go to get in on the first day. Loved that!

The water in the shower wasn't easy to regulate. The temperature kept changing by itself.

The location is perfect, right in the middle of a shopping street. It's a very spacious apartment. We stayed with 7 people and were very comfortable. 2 separate toilets so this is really nice when staying with a big group.

The property is located in the center of the city. Perfect for everything you need. A grocery store is just on the opposite side of the street. Some restaurants are nearby. The car can be parked for free on the street from 9:00 pm to 9:00 am or close to the church where the parking is unregulated. The host is very responsive and accurate.

There is lots of space within the property and amenities provided were suitable for us. The communication was exceptional with timely responses and occasional check ins without being bombarded with messages.

We thought we’d parked in a free parking zone, but ended up with a parking ticket. Not the owners fault, but we should have been more careful

Extremely spacious and equipped with everything you need. Altogether there are 4 bedrooms with 8 beds, one bathroom with a toilet and a shower and one extra toilet with a washing basin. The flat is on the second floor (and two bedrooms on the third on) right on the shopping street and only 5min away from Hallgrimskirkja. Parking is a bit of a hassle but when you are patient and maybe not there in high season you can find free parking near Hallgrimskirkja. In front of the house it is only free from 9pm to 9am. A supermarket is just across the road and restaurants/cafes in walking distance.

The stairs leading to the 2 top bedrooms is steep. The 2 top bedroom ceiling is low due to the shop of the roof. We hit our head several times during the stay. Fortunately, it did not hurt much.

Right on the shopping strip of the city. Short walk to restaurants, supermarket and attractions. Plenty of hot water. Has 1 1/2 of bath. It was quiet at night though at the shopping strip.

As soon as we arrived, the entrance seemed interesting. We weren’t sure we were in the right place. The steps outdoors could be swept. There is a shattered window in the residence below, so at first we were nervous about the safety of the location. Also, when we got inside, it smelled like second hand cigarette smoke. We were able to air it out, but it was disappointing. There was a cable hanging loose on the floor that stabbed the bottom of my foot, so I tucked it up on the wall. (Photo attached) Also, there are no laundry facilities that we could find, so the listing needs to be updated.

The location was phenomenal. Lots of space for our whole family. Beds were super comfortable.

the description was misleading. there is one bathroom with a shower and a separate second toilet. the access to the very unpleasant looking garden is from outside and downstairs. the windows are a bit dilapidated and don’t close properly. there is no 24 hour desk and the ATM is in a shop over the road. the description does not need to over egg the pudding as the property is excellent and such good value.
