How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewGreat location, lots of space! Comfortable bedrooms.
The kitchen was not entirely clean, just a bit gritty and could do with a new coat of varnish on the surfaces.

Verified reviewThis apartment was great for our group of 4 adults—a couple with 2 grown children. We were able to park in a space right out front while we settled in before going out the first night. It was $5 for an hour which was okay for a short time. We parked overnight for free at the church, which is only a few blocks away, then free out front before 9:00 on the morning we checked out. There was plenty of room to spread out, comfortable beds, great water pressure. Especially nice was the availability of laundry on site since I managed to soak a pair of pants on my second day. The on-site host Oskar was very responsive and helpful both before and during our stay. A fun thing there is all the names and hash marks showing the heights of previous guests. We added ours too :)
Our first night was a Wednesday and it was very quiet on the street, but the next night there was loud music (coming from a bar/restaurant next door?) that went quite late. I was okay with earplugs and the others didn’t notice since we were all so tired. It might have been better at a different time of year. We were there in March and the radiators were cranking, and we had to keep the window vents open to cool it down. We would have been more comfortable sleeping with it cooler, especially since the beds have duvets, so you can’t sleep with just a top sheet.

Verified reviewExcellent location - on the strip. Good size rooms & beds. Very warm & cozy. Property was just a little tired & would welcome a refurb however for a big family it was ideal & affordable compared to hotel prices - shop across the road so you can stock up on food & keep costs down. Great hairdryer & comfy beds. With trips booked it was great for what we needed.
Apartment just needs a little tlc, better bins for rubbish & recycle, shower could be more powerful - nothing that would cost a great deal.

Verified reviewExcellent location and great facilities. There were plenty of cooking utensils and the beds were comfortable .The supermarket was over the road which meant we could cook family meals at a good price. The dining table was a good side too. Would recommend this apartment for families.

Verified reviewThis property’s location is incredible! It was close to everything and we had no trouble finding parking. The host was incredibly responsive and even checked in to see if we needed more coffee! It was clean and had plenty of room for our family of 5. Check in and check out were seamless and the host sent pictures of exactly where to go to get in on the first day. Loved that!
We would have liked to have more pillows and towels, but honestly, we made it work and it was fine. The biggest issue is that the downstairs neighbors are LOUD and make noise at all hours. There were doors being slammed, yelling, and kids screaming. Loud music was played late at night as we tried to sleep, and we are typically up late, but it was later than that.

Verified reviewThe location is perfect, right in the middle of a shopping street. It's a very spacious apartment. We stayed with 7 people and were very comfortable. 2 separate toilets so this is really nice when staying with a big group.
The water in the shower wasn't easy to regulate. The temperature kept changing by itself.

Verified reviewIncredibly convenient for the centre of town, spacious and comfortable. Friendly host and great value for money.
It is town parking which can be congested, but considering you are right in the city centre it is good to be able to park nearby at all.

Verified reviewThe property is located in the center of the city. Perfect for everything you need. A grocery store is just on the opposite side of the street. Some restaurants are nearby. The car can be parked for free on the street from 9:00 pm to 9:00 am or close to the church where the parking is unregulated. The host is very responsive and accurate.

Verified reviewThe location is super, just on the Main street. No elevator so we need to get our luggage through stairs. Glad it’s in the second floor. The ceiling of the rooms upstairs are a bit low, gotta bend a bit.
