The mid age Icelandic/American female staff was very rude and scolded my husband and I upon arrival as if she was sending 2 children up to their rooms. I was simply giving the woman a compliment on her English and she said “Alright guys” in a loud rude range as if she was asking me to be quiet and for my husband and I to leave the front desk and go upstairs. It was 6 pm when we arrived and she non inviting to the guests. & the restaurant in the hotel serves no breakfasts or lunch and doesn’t open until 5 pm, so we had to leave the hotel to go find food.

- The restaurant only opens after 5 and there is nothing else in the hotel.

- A practical place to stay at near the airport. - The surrounding area is mostly beach side and you have the giant's cave behind the hotel. - They have a self check in which is convenient.

Older hotel, shower and toilet in room, but didn't have to share which was a bonus.

It was in keflavik, close to airport. A town that was built around American army base, so not the most picturesque. The hotel has restauraunt and the town had some good places to eat.

There was no staff on site except a maintenance person. The restaurant was closed. I had a problem and I called the hotel. They told me they couldn’t help as I had booked with Booking.com. They gave me a phone number to call for Booking.com. When I called Booking.com I talked to some one in Hong Kong who told me they couldn’t help me over the phone. When I told them I was afraid to share credit card information over an insecure line agent she could not help me and hung up on me.

Close to the airport. Close to the town of Keflavik. Check in information was good.

We requested a room without stairs as my 87 year old mother has mobility issues. We were told that this would be possible. When we arrived we were assigned a room with stairs inside the room in order to access the bathroom as well as the door to enter and exit the room. This was a significant issue for us that was not resolved as the hotel was fully booked

The location is quite close to the airport, there are restaurants nearby hotel. The elevator is amazing!

The Owner room password is confused. We have booked three rooms. The Owner did not specify which room used which password, but sent a long email. We need to try different passwords to open the door! It's very troublesome! I hope the Owner will indicate which password to use in that room in the future!

I didn't like the keyless entry. With the blacked out keypad, it was difficult to get enter the code. After a couple of erroneous entries, I was locked out until the system reset. GRRR!

Room wasnt really clean, especially the Shower plus doorframe was right next to the shower and due to the water completely moldy. When the window was open the door was constantly mooving due to the wind passing through.

Good location, right at the port, only 5min drive to the airport, free parking infront of the hotel. Good heating. No smelling water.

A little bit dirty, especially the fridge was very dirty and also very loud. We need to unplug it. The locker on the doors are a bit complicated, no instructions available No stuff in the hotel and the phone at the reception did not work

I hadn’t spotted the email with self checkin details so bit of a panic but fine when I’d found details

We weren’t expecting much as it was our cheapest accomodation spend whilst exploring Iceland. We needed a base before early flight. It was perfect. We had family room which was spacious. Shower was good and far better than one we’d previous nights more expensive accommodation.

Our room was wayyyyy too small. We couldn’t even shower how small the shower was. Don’t stay longer than one night. I think we only stayed 6 hours
