We really enjoyed our stay at Efra Sel Hostel: the view from the property is great, the bed was really comfy and the kitchen well equipped for any meal. Truly recommend!

The hostel is very clean and comfortable. My friends and I really enjoyed it. The other guests are also very nice, too.

Very nice view overlooking a golf course and the mountains. Very well equipped kitchen with free coffee and tea. Highly recommend this property for budget travel.

The bed was too soft for me. Unfortunately I made a move to sleep on the side and caused the duvet to knock over the cup with a bit of blueberry tea inside. The pillow case and bed sheet got some stain as a result of this accident. Hopefully the washing machine will be able to remove the stain.

Very homey, converted single family home next to a golf course and not far from Gullfoss and Geysir on the golden circle.

Efra Sel was the nicest surprise of our trip when it comes to accommodation, and probably my favourite accommodation we stayed at in Iceland. The room was spacious and clean, and this was the only room where we had a sofa as part of a "living room corner" too. There was a sink and mirror in the room. The bathrooms are nice and there are 2 bathrooms for 6 rooms I think, which is a good ratio. We did not see other people, so it barely felt like a shared hostel bathroom. The kitchen is also well equipped with a large table facing large windows with a nice view outside. The price was also pretty affordable. We were sorry we booked only 1 night, and would definitely come back!

A last-minute booking on our way back to the capital area. Recently new premises, clean and nice room with double bed, a spacious kitchen and common area. Cleand and spacious bathrooms. A self check-in place, complimentary tea and coffee. A "golf" restaurant and bar next door.

There is a hot tub at the premises which unfortunately wasn´t working during our stay. Other guests (a family of four) who stayed "invaded" the whole kitchen and common area for most of the evening and morning, which we were quite uncomfortable with. This is ofc not the guesthouse´s fault but maybe some general advice on the use of common area would be good?

Very clean and spacious room, the guesthouse has also a living room/kitchen area with nice view. The kitchen is well equipped and we even had a coffee from a machine, enjoying our morning on the terrace. The staff - owners that we met are very friendly and open.

Hot tub is broken and make sure you read where to park. If you park in the wrong area of the neighbors are very rude.

This property is perfect. The kitchen is clean and well stocked. The rooms are modern and comfortable. One of the best B and B stays we have had.
