Clean and fairly nice room. Home atmosphere. They gave me an upgrade. Lots of light in the common areas. Free coffee. Free parking in street.

No possibility to fully open windows and ventilate room properly. Room had a balcony in front of it which blocked the view but which you could not access. You have to pay extra for slippers (this is very unusual in a four star hotel priced at over 300 euros a night!!!). Location not great.

    Clean, parking, bed

Even it's Island there should be more intention to reach the real ****level. The reception was a little bit lottery. Sometimes good, sometimes strange. The room everything clean and nice but overrated (also for Island). For the lack of friendliness always the excuse "it's Island style" is already boring....

Very good location. On premise restaurant had good food and chef was so pleasant. Rooms were clean.

Room was small, bathroom very small. Only one small shelf for toiletries right over toilet. Toilet paper holder broken off so no where for it to be. Poor water pressure in shower. Housekeeping only 1 day a week of which we got to choose the day, seems unreasonable for the high price of the room. No extra towels provided unless you asked for them, so I guess we were supposed to use the same towels for 3 days? :( We asked for tissues, to which we were told there is only toilet paper provided. Odd. We bought our own at the grocery store around the corner. Front desk not friendly at all. Never said good morning unless we said it first. Price of room not in line with quality of hotel. In need of updating throughout.

It was very clean. The room is small which we kind of expected.

    No A/C and small room.

Great ambience, great staff. Good restaurant and breakfast.

Two single beds instead of a double bed, when asked reception to put them together I was told that this is the first time they were asked to do so and that was impossible which is curious. There was no hot water in the sink in the bathroom and the shower drainage was clogged. The kettle smelt of coffee!!

The breakfast was delicious!! The room was lovely and very clean. I love the room's design. The bed was VERY comfortable. The blackout curtains were a plus and the staff was AMAZING and incredibly helpful. Great hotel!!!!

I love the shower but water definitely gets on the floor. But I still love the bathroom!! The perfect size and very clean.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Thank you for the recommendation to eat at "Pots and Pans".

Not immediately in the touristy part of the capital. Made parking easy but we had to walk a bit.

The room was clean, comfortable, quiet, relaxing. The lounge was a comfortable space to hang out. The variety of food at breakfast was wonderful; liked the rye bread and hot coffee. Parking.

    No complaints.

Everything here is wonderful, including the view to the waterfront. I chose this location on reviews about it being a ‘foodie’ location. It far exceeded expectations of the palate. The room was excellent, the staff, like old friends. We’ll be back next year when the sun is up and… well, stays up. :)

I could have booked a few more nights.

    No surprises. Good breakfast

Fairly basic facilities. Expensive - but probably the norm in Reykjavik.

The staff, in particular Ella, Elsa and Jimmy, were very nice and provided a lot of useful info about Iceland. Room was clean and comfortable. Location was decent and near a bus stop. Food at the bar was great!

    Nothing.

Sad I wasn’t able to get the two twin beds that I had requested but we had very good night sleeps nonetheless

    Bed was amazing! Comfy heaven!

The room and bathroom were WAY too small. No AC and the window only opened a crack. Mostly a residential area

The front desk clerk was excellent. He recommended the best restaurants and was patient booking excursions.

Just needs some detail work. Dragonfly sign on front was falling off, overhead light in bed did not work. Maybe add some fresh flowers in the pots outside.
