I don’t think anything could’ve been done but there was a fly in our room when we arrived. The shower was also laid out poorly so if you adjust the shower head, you pretty much run the risk of soaking the entire bathroom as there’s no shower door and the drain is right under the head instead of in the back.

I wanted someplace near Vik and this was the most reasonably priced option, even though it was still an hour away. The room was comfortable and the twin beds can be separated for some space. Ample parking and breakfast was good. Also appreciated that the check-out times were later than at most places. It’s in a really pretty area and I could see how they host weddings there.

We didn't enjoy the breakfast here as much as we did at other places we stayed.

At first glance, this place doesn't stand out or look like anything fancy, but it ended up being one of the favorite places we stayed. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but the property itself is amazing. There are ponds and they rent fishing rods which my son loved. There are plenty of places to walk and explore and you'll run into some friendly sheep along the way. The restaurant was good... we enjoyed dinner more than breakfast, but overall it exceeded expectations. Everyone was so nice and accommodating.

The walls are quite thin so make sure you bring earplugs for birds and other guests if you want to sleep in late.

The hotel is in a very good location for access the golden circle area, the south coast (including Westman island), and the Thorsmork area. The room was clean and comfortable, I would stay here again. The free breakfast is excellent.

Coach blocked the parking overnight despite a huge empty car park by the top building, frustrating as I have limited mobility. Felt the breakfast finished very early so we ended up skipping it. Room overlooked a trailer park which was a shame given the beautiful location. Staff were not very friendly at check in or check out.

Being in a remote location we thought it would be a great spot to try to see northern lights, but the complex was too big, so there was plenty of light. Anyway, we just drove a couple of minutes away and found a good spot.

The room could be a little bit bigger, the sound insulation could be improved and it could be nice to be a little bit more modern. However, it did not had impact in our stay because it was good enough for one night.

It is a very nice location and calm as well, with very good breakfast and restaurant. The views from the hotel are amazing and we saw northern lights from there. It was very clean and and bathroom is very well equipped.

Located in the middle of nowhere; it was cloudy when we were there but normally great for northern lights viewing I think. Breakfast was great. The Hygge restaurant is cute. Room was a bit outdated but with everything you need.

Broad variety of breakfast options. Nice room and spacious bathroom. We had great luck that there was a lovely and long Aurora that night. The hotel is a little bit out of Hellisholar, which was good to be found. For us it was on our way back, but I think this is also a good base for more days and several excursions.

The combined reading lamp and shelf above each bed was situated so that anyone taller than me (156.8 cm) cannot sit up in bed against the wall without hitting their head on the shelf.

We had a beautiful view of Eyjafjallajökull. The food at the restaurant was yummy! This was a treat as the location is fairly remote with a drive required to other eateries. Very clean.

Hotel is 10min drive from main road . If you are vegetarian no food options also expensive. Get it from Grocery from the main road

This hotel is in middle of nowhere so you can watch Northern lights. We we lucky enough to watch.
