I liked the animals.

The bathroom set up was a little odd in the hostel.

Beautiful position, tidy rooms, well equipped kitchen, very nice restaurant nearby (same owners), easy hiking paths. Goats, pigs and a reindeer wandering around 😍

There should be more toilets and showers

Room was clean. Comfy beds. Good wifi. Bar and restaurant on site (but we didn’t go). Shared kitchen facilities. Easy check-in/check-out. Friendly staff.

We booked 2 beds in a 4 beds dormitory : we were happy to enjoy the room only for the 2 of us but would have appreciated to get the information before (we didn’t know if we could lock the door or not). sinks into the 3 toilets are not great for sharing the facilities. Only 2 showers to share (1 more would be better). If the kitchen is well equiped, there are not enough ustensiles (1 pan and 1 casserole for all guests, no salad bowl, so everybody was waiting for his turn). towel should be provided (but we knew there was none). No answer when we tried to call them (phone line cut systematically)

There were five of us in total, and since one couple was among us, we requested two rooms for five people when booking. However, upon check-in, they only provided one room, claiming we had only reserved five beds. That room only had two bunk beds. After our strong insistence, they gave us an additional room with another bunk bed. During this time, they asked if we wanted to have the breakfast buffet (which was not included in the room rate). We clearly stated that we didn’t want it, as we had brought our own food. However, they charged us for the breakfast without our knowledge, and I only discovered this after returning to the U.S. when I saw the charge on my credit card. This was a terrible establishment, and it gave us a very bad experience.

This place is exactly in the middle of the tundra surrounded by very stunning landscapes and mountains. The atmosphere is absolutely magnificent. This actually is a whole camp with a restaurant and a café and a bar with all the infrastructure; and the hostel itself is very pleasant and nice and clean and cosy; I will definitely come back :)

Amazing location, intimate atmosphere. Magical surroundings. The staff has been great, we were even upgraded to a higher accommodation upon arrival, the restaurant serves great local specialties.

It was a beautiful venue in the middle of nowhere, just perfect! Everyone was so friendly and helpful, even the local animals.

Arriving at this hostel was an unforgettable journey through the highlands and its location is great. The kitchen and common areas are very large, well equipped and comfortable. Nice atmosphere.

Great place, the view from the common area was beautiful. Need to travel a bit on a road which is risky for a 2WD vehicle. The kitchen is slightly old fashioned, and I didn't know how to use someof the equipment. Common area and the rooms are nice, but when there's too many people common areas get busy. Some showers weren't functional.

Although the location was a little off the route, it was a beautiful hostel experience for us. 4 friends in the same room. Clean and fully equipped kitchen + social area + clean toilets and bathrooms.

Awesome place, surroundings and great food

Rooms in dorm were bit small, but manageable.

Nice area. Cozy common areas.

No curtains around the bunkbeds. Very public showers. The pictures makes it look like you are staying in a cute cabin, but that is just the information and bar. The sleeping area is in at big house.

The hostel is new, well furnished, and well kept. The bedroom is very small for four people, but we could luckily use it with the 3 of us (still little space to walk around). The kitchen is well furnished and functional. There is a sauna, which we did not use but is a great idea to have, especially at this location. In fact, be prepared to drive slowly on a relatively long gravel road to reach this place, which is in the middle of nowhere (I think of this as a nice experience, but some might see it differently).

We think that the main photo is deceiving, as that is the outer look of the reception and not of the hostel (just a minor point and the other pictures reflect how the hostel looks like internally).

Great location. Good restaurant, a bit expensive but good traditional food. The dorm is really nice, well furnished. Shared kitchen, showers, bathrooms and sauna. it was a very nice stay. Wifi was only in common areas
