Persistent smell from bathroom drain

This is a very unique Foss branded hotel located on the water in a historic fishing village. The history of the town is passed down through the museum located on property. Staff were amazing. Hotel restaurant is the best in town.

The history and staff friendliness. Very welcoming and professional. Great service at dinner. Beautiful location and the staff even asked us if we would like to step outside after dinner for a great sunset photo opportunity.

we had a very spacious room in one of the smaller buildings, with a view of the fjord. Everything was very clean and cozy. Dinner was right next to the water, with a fantastic view. Food and service were great. It's located in a very small town, with little traffic, so it's really quiet at night.

We had to park a bit far from our door as there was only a little parking infront of the door. Only a minute walk but with luggage , it was a bit difficult.

The road was loud, other guests were loud in the hall late at night, our room had a limited view as we were in the building above registration.

We struggled to figure out the parking and find the lobby when we first arrived. We didn't know the hotel covered multiple buildings, perhaps provide more information after booking.

Very comfortable hotel, right on the fjord. We loved that there was a dock to enjoy the water. The room was clean and very comfortable. The town was a sleepy Iceland fishing town, which was great. We wanted something in between Höfn and Egilsstaðir that was nice, this hotel was perfect.

Nothing to complain about

This is not a posh hotel.. but it has such a nice ambiance for relaxation and meditation! It has a nostalgic feel to it! The staff is welcoming and helpful. The restaurant is great.. we had a very delicious dinner and a good breakfast! The food was outstanding and affordable! The waitress was very attentive and kind. The surroundings of the property is exceptional.. with the hotel overlooking the lake and the mountains.. on the sides there are small ports and the back of a hotel is a resting town rich in history.
