    Nice place to stay.

Breakfast cost about $23, but for Iceland it's a fear price as for this price outside you can get cup of soup or small sandwich. Good coffee machine.

Nothing in particular, just that in the bathroom there were a few things that looked a bit run-down.

Incredible location in the middle of nowhere, triple room was quite comfortable and we liked the great windows in each room

Ceiling light and bedside lamp were not working but the staff fixed them after we informed the receptionist. It’s better the hotel can check the room condition before guests check in.

The location is good. Room is clean and breakfast is convenient since no cafe in the nearby area.

For the price, pay more attention to small flaws in the room. Reception looks great - hallway to the rooms is a different story. Breakfast is far too expensive.

Great location, amazing view, very friendly staff, delicious food, nice rooms.

Probably the best Fosshotel where we stayed. Nice view and small terrace for morning yoga.

    - We found only decaf coffee sticks in the room - It would be great if the terrace was a little bit bigger

    - Probably the best Fosshotel where we stayed. - Hotel has nice exterior and design. Located in the fields with nice surrounding views. - Breakfast was good. Nothing special though. - There was a kettle and a drier in the room to dry our clothes, which is quite important in Iceland. - Room was clean and comfortable with good bed and shower. - There was a small terrace in front of our room where we did yoga in the morning with nice view on the mountains. Terrace was a bit small though that we barely put two yoga mats there.

Definitely not worth the price, though I understand the limited options in the area.

Overall a very standard hotel — rooms were fine, location was fine.

Expected more, especially for these prices. Hotel tries to be something it’s not. You’re basically sleeping in a bougie sea container. Breakfast food quality was good, but they kept running out of the basics: not just food items, but plates and knives? How?

Great location with surreal views, as long as your room doesn’t face the parking lot - which about 30% of the rooms seem to do.

We were a family of 4, in 2 rooms. Other than the restaurant, the hotel doesnt have a space where guests can relax and senos time togethwr (only a couple of tables / sofás in the corridor

Great customer service and kindness from every member of the staff we met.

Having an a la carte option for smaller breakfast might be nice.

Room was comfortable and quiet. Parking is plentiful. Having a restaurant for breakfast and dinner when necessary is very helpful.

It is really not ideal to have this pervasive fad of a comforter covered in sheeting, as it is too warm in summer, so I kept waking up either cold from tossing it off or excessively warm if covered with one. Finally, I used the bath towel and a scarf to cover myself and fell asleep for a few more hours. Everyone uses them here in Iceland and at home, so it is a general comment for all hotels, and is not specific to this very nice hotel.

The location is ideal, in the midst of the important sites of Iceland, and the staff was extremely efficient and nice.

It is a pricey option, but may other options were already fully booked.

The hotel is perfectly set on the Iceland's ring road between Skaftafell and Vík, so a great location for staying on your road trip. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and very clean. All rooms have balcony, which is nice for taking some fresh air. Our family was accommodated in rooms just next to each other as requested, which made our stay easier. Restaurant is very good and we've spent a great night together enjoying nice meals in its comfortable area. Breakfast was very good with various options for a great start of the day. Staff was nice and unobtrusive.
