Clean, comfortable, and close to Hallgrimskirkja and Laugavegur.

Parking was difficult to find.

Location is the best part of this little gem of a guest house, but the and hospitality and kindness of the people running it was a close second. Iceland is expensive no matter where you stay, however with that in mind, we felt that this place was very much worth it. Perfect place for our last few days in Reykjavík.

Location, kitchens, free smoothies, top floor lounge is so cute with great views. The staff are so kind and helpful. I was a little nervous about the shared bathroom but there are only a few rooms sharing, they stayed clean and there is one on every floor so if one is occupied you can go to another.

We stayed here as a family of 9 including a baby, the staff was so helpful and accommodating! Helped with everything we needed, I highly recommend this place for families and anyone looking for a comfortable place and also downtown location is perfect!

It was perfect

Wonderfully warm welcome, lovely chat. Some really lovely thoughtful touches here - a cake in the kitchen, smoothies for guests... crispy clean bedroom and lots of information provided of good local spots/cafes etc. Great location for town, church and free parking!

For room sharing one bathroom was a bit much. Hate booking.com.

I've stayed here several times, and it is always a highlight of my trip! So centrally located, and I often end up making friends with some of the other guests.

Hosts, location, property were the best!

The location was perfect – right next to the beautiful Icelandic church – and it was a very easy walk to everywhere we wanted to go. Because of this, we were able to just leave our car in a free parking area and not use it again until it was time to leave Reykjavik.

The rooms were very small and bathrooms were shared. They had a nice lounge area on the third floor, but it was often in use and somewhat crowded.

The mango smoothie was a nice way to start the day.

The hallways had an old house smell, but the bedrooms themselves didn't smell at all.

We were unable to check in before 2. But somehow I was led to believe that it would not be a problem.

Great location next to landmark church and convenient to downtown. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean and comfortable with extras like excellent coffee and luxe bath products and delicious mango smoothies. The shared bathrooms were spotless. A real find.
