The only downside was that the bedsheets felt quite old and not very pleasant to sleep on.

We absolutely loved our stay at the guesthouse - the studio is absolutely perfect, beautifully decorated and has two lovely vistas over the property and the mountain. We felt right at home. The studio has been expertly renovated - the bathroom was great and one of the best showers we had during our roadtrip around Iceland. We would recommend this guesthouse to anyone!

Absolutely nothing!

This was our favourite stay in our one week tour of Iceland! It was comfortable, spacious and clean. The shower was powerful and the kitchen was fully equipped. It had the most comfortable bed too. We were even able to see the northern lights. The view was spectacular.

Such a lovely apartment in a beautifully renovated old farm house. A spacious room with beutiful furniture and a stunning view. The owners served breakfast in their home across the street and offered an informative, personal and interesting conversation - a rare opportunity to meet locals if you're traveling from abroad.

Family run guesthouse. Super friendly host that greeted me when i arrived and showed me the room and had all kinds of great recommendations. She also had recommendations and instructions conveniently printed out in english and icelandic. My room was on top floor with private bath. The space was modern yet charming. Great views of the surrounding farm!!

We loved the whole place! The appartement was beautiful, clean and designed with love. And it was calm! I can't remember that I ever have slept as good as at Frostastaðir (part of that were of course the very cozy beds!). Highly recommend this place!

The guesthouse is comfy and clean. The dog is adorable and not afraid of people. Love it.

The only negative was the amount of flies we had to deal with in the house. However, this is a working farm, so I guess flies are to be expected.

The lodging was both large and very comfortable. Having a full kitchen which was nicely stocked was a plus. The living room with large windows had a beautiful view. The entire place was nicely decorated and very welcoming. It was perfect for four adults.

This place is amazing… was our best choice in Iceland. I wish we can have more days there. The owners are so friendly. We include breakfast in our stay and was AMAZING. The tastiest breakfast we ever ate in hotel. Homemade Icelandic breakfast includes everything. We Highly recommend 💕💕💕💕💕 stay in two rooms apartment and was a full equipped house. With everything we need for those two days! Hopefully we will be back soon to this place!!!
