Didn’t matter to us but our apartment was up steep and narrow stairs - just FYI. There was a downstairs apartment however so maybe check when booking if stairs are concern.

Rooms are big and very well decorated! Very comfortable beds and sofas. Washer and dryer are the best, new and efficient! Kitchen area is also very comfortable and useful!

The second bedroom was very tiny, and had narrow beds. This room was more for child/teen sized people.

The apartment had everything that you need to cook a meal, very comfortable for a family group. Bedding was comfortable, lots of space in the larger bedroom and living room. Pull out sofas for 2 more people. Parking for 1 car. Great location.

Be warned the stairs up to 2nd floor are steep, but that really is the only issue

Really lovely property, had everything we needed for a night and could have stayed longer. Right in the centre of town and walking distance to all the amenities.

Needs better sound proofing, can hear everything in the apartment above which isn't great when they are up way earlier than you! Single beds were very narrow and son (who is 20) said they were rather too firm.

My stay was too short, I wish I had stayed longer

I loved everything about this cottage style house. Our apartment was on the ground floor. The living room, kitchen and 2 bedrooms were reasonably spacious, nicely decorated, very clean and very cozy. Our friends stayed upstairs in another lovely apartment. Seyðisfjörður, is a lovely small town, in a valley, surrounded by beautiful mountains. The locals are all very friendly and we enjoyed lovely food in the nearby Aldan bar/restaurant. We stayed for the Sluice 2025 art event, but it would also make a great base for driving around and seeing all the other sights. If I am ever travelling in this region again, I would hope to stay in this cottage.

Shower area is too small. Kitchen area is too dark. We have to push mobile phone over the stove in order to get the light from the phone.

All are perfect here. Big and clean apartment. Comfy bed in the big bedroom. The location is good. We are happy staying here.

You could hear the neighbors that were living downstairs a little through the walls. I can imagine they also heard us and our steps.

The apartment was very spacious and homey. With four people we felt super comfortable and had lots of space especially enjoying the living room area. The bathroom even had a washer and dryer which was very helpful too. The interior was cozy and the apartment had nice views to the fjord including seals. Everything is walkable since it’s a small town.

The immediate surrounding area was not terribly attractive. Beds were not very comfortable for us. Kitchen could use better lighting.
