The host was incredibly kind! When I mentioned that I was interested in the Puffin Patrol, they explained how it works and even lent me a box for the pufflings. When we happened to meet in town during the patrol, they kindly showed me how to spot them as well. The hiking course they recommended for puffin watching was absolutely amazing. The facilities were very clean, the bed was spacious and comfortable, and the location was very convenient!

Because the bed faced the road, I could occasionally hear the sound of passing cars.

We liked most about it the host Thomas! We have travelled alot as a family and no one has been as kind and helpful as this host! He helped us alot witjh all sorts of things.

Very central location, as well as a very friendly host

The cozy caravan lives up to its name! We had a great stay, and would recommend to anyone visiting. Thomas was very welcoming - and provided great tips on where to spot puffins.

Cozy cabin. Beds comfortable and extra blankets to stay warm on a seasonably freezing night. Nice host, great dinner recommendation and lent me binoculars to see the puffins as well as good places to see them. Couldn't ask for more from the host in terms of hospitality and generosity.

Need to fix the bathroom doorknob so it locks easier from inside the camper bathroom (so a guest wouldn't consider going outside at night to use the indoor as opposed to in camper bathroom facilities). Dish towels and bathroom hand towels instead of paper towels to be more environmentally considerate. Directions for the coffee machine (but this is on a ludite like me who couldnt.figure it out, not a fault of the owner).

The caravan was incredibly clean, very well equipped and cozy – everything we needed for a comfortable stay was there. Thomas is a wonderful host – warm, welcoming, and full of helpful tips. He gave us great advices on what to see and do on the island, including the best times and places to spot puffins. We, unfortunately, couldn’t join his tour as he was fully booked, but he still shared his knowledge and recommendations. If you get the chance, definitely ask him about tour availability! Parrots and huge outdoor aquarium! Fun surprise that added even more charm to our stay :) Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and homey stay!

Only a few minutes drive from the ferry, able to park just in front of the home. Owner met us and gave us a tour of the RV as well as the in-home access to the bathroom facilities. We were heading out right away to search for puffins and he gave us a heads up of where to search, along with letting us borrow his binoculars (which were much better quality than the small ones we had brought from home). We returned late at night and unfortunately found that there was no water in the RV. There was construction going on nearby so it was quite noisy in the morning but he had warned us of this ahead of time and we turned on a sound machine from our phone so it wasn't a big deal. We filled up the tea kettle in the house bathroom and were able to make hot cocoa using the supplied dishes and popcorn for breakfast with the microwave.

The caravan was very clean and the beds were much more comfortable than I imagined. Thomas was very knowledgeable about puffins and gave us advice when/where to find them. He also gave us earbuds in case it was loud at night but it was very peaceful and we didn't need them. Would definitely stay again if we ever get the pleasure of visiting the island again :)

Super cute, well equipped, cosy caravan. Very friendly, polite hosts.

The caravan has a small bathroom (toilet, tap), which could be used occasionally as there was a limit of the water tank. Therefore i was recommended to rather use a private bathroom with shower in the house, which was super clean and warm, however it was not so convenient to dress up, go out to the house and come back every time. I wish i knew this beforehand. The street was very noisy in the morning and during the afternoon as big trucks were going and coming on the other side of the road. Therefore the view was also not the so attracting.

Host was very friendly. It's a camper van so you know what to expect - tight quarters. But as such, they are great. The back porch in their house is full of cool things like a koi pool. The private bathroom is a blessing. The bed was so comfortable.

That there were a lot of people squeezing by our trailer to fetch stuff from the garage next to us so we felt constantly privacy invested with people squeezing agains our wondows

This was lovely for our family of 3 (my husband, myself and our 11 year old son) Close to everything and the caravan itself has a shocking amount of nooks and crannies, hidden compartments and everything one might need! Tomas the host couldn’t have been kinder or more communicative. We loved it! The sound of the rain on the caravan as we drifted off to sleep is something I will treasure forever.

Thomas is a fantastic host. The caravan was - as desbribed - cozy and comfortable and nothing was missing. You can also book a tour with Thomas to explore the birds and other wildlife of the island. And say hello to Nemo, the friendliest dog you will ever encounter. Highly recommended.
